  • Location and bar were above average.
  • Room felt a little small and no jacuzi or pool.

“It was very clean and neat. We were located on the same floor as the dining and bar so that was nice. The location, all be it situated near some seedier establishments, was right in the middle of everything we wanted. Great time.”

  • Air conditioning!
  • Room was a bit dirty.

“Comfortable and relatively inexpensive place to stay if sharing a room. The room was large and cool and I was quite pleased with the value. Good for leisure trips when you're not spending lots of time at the hotel. The restaurant was overpriced and had limited vegetarian options.”

  • It was in close proximity to most of my destinations.
  • The elevators didn't work, they had black mold in the windows, the internet in the room didn't work.

“Overall the stay was okay because the hotel for this trip was just for sleeping for us and it was close to the places we wanted to go. But... The elevators didn't work, there was black mold in the windows, the so-called "free internet" in the room didn't work, and the staff were very few and far between.”

  • Cheap and simple. Good location.

“Excellent hotel for the price. Everything was recently renovated. Very good location for walking to downtown.”

  • It was conveniently located.
  • It was small, outdated, and it smelled.

“We were very unhappy that we had to pay $15 a night to park there. The floor we were on had a really foul smell and the ice machine was broken. The beds were two doubles and very uncomfortable. My husband and I had to sleep in separate beds. The cleaning staff did not do a very good job and they cleaned even though we had the do not disturb sign up. I would definitely not stay there again!”

  • The shower.
  • The noise.

“The hotel wasn't bad but the AC didn't work very well and I could hear the street below all night. The price wasn't very good, after
I got there I found other hotels for less.”

  • Staff was friendly; convenient location.
  • Shortage of 3-hole plugs.

“Overall, good value. Hotel seemed to be undergoing a renovation, which I suspect will up its quality level in the years to come.”

  • Nothing.
  • Smokey non-smoking room, wet paint and odor in hallways.

“We were told this was a non smoking hotel. I walked in our room and smelled smoke, maid came 2 min later with a fumigator. Girlfriend had an asthma attack as a result. It was hard to even find the front door, you had to enter thru the restaurant. There was wet paint and its odor in the hallways. One of the 2 worst hotels I have ever stayed in.”

  • The hotel provided reasonably priced parking.
  • The hotel provided reasonably priced parking.

“Although the location of this hotel is ideal, and the staff are all friendly and efficient, this hotel has nothing to offer a traveler other than a room to sleep in and an over-priced restaurant to eat in. The beds were not even that comfortable.”

  • Downtown location.
  • Very old hotel that desperately needs major renovation.

“Hotel lobby was closed for renovation and the room we were staying in needs renovation: such as carpeting, washroom, etc. So it was a bad experience.”

  • Location was great.
  • Difficult connecting to the internet.

“Nice and basic but clean and quiet.”

  • Location & restaurant staff (who warmed up my kid's bottle on request).
  • No microwave/refrigerator for use, and no communal use available.

“The desk staff was friendly overall, but offer better knowledge of the immediate area restaurants.”

  • Environmental friendly, newspaper and
    great location.
  • Smell in elevators.

“The location is great for people who wants to spend time in Seattle.”

“xcellent value for it's downtown location.”

  • The location was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
  • The airport shuttle does not come directly to the hotel.

“For the price, the hotel was excellent. With regards to the shuttle, it did come to the Westin which was about one block away, so this was only a minor inconvenience.”

  • A good location considering the places we needed to get to.
  • Couldn't believe that parking in an outdoor unsecured parking lot was $15 extra per night.

“The room met our expectations of the star rating. Internet use was expensive, parking was extra and the staff, althouh not rude, were quite unhelpful and seemed to not have enough training to use their own computer system.”

  • It was clean and the restaurant breakfast was good.
  • Rooms are small, specially bathroom.

“It’s in the heart of downtown Seattle --very busy and crowded. The parking cost more. It was $15.

“Many places at better value, at better locations.”

  • The front desk staff was great - they even gave me a free pizza when I got back from the bars.
  • The elevator was stuffy and the music was suicidal.

“$12 for parking is ridiculous. It should not be an extra expense to park at the hotel I'm already paying to stay out. The front desk service was awesome. The room was decent, not somewhere for romance. I don't care how in love you are.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[7]

  • Easy access off the I 5 freeways and to Seattle attractions.
  • The restaurant service was poor.

“We found the room very adequate. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly and cheerful. Unfortunately the restaurant staff was not.”
