• The pool and location.
• They charged for breakfast and parking.

“The staff needs a lot of training. Each staff told us something different in regards to how breakfast was charged. There was a lot of confusion around simple items like parking. I was told one thing and than was charged differently.”

• A bit pricey.

“Overall an excellent hotel, we mixed a business trip with an overnight stay and the convenience of the location was excellent for the places we were going to, the view of Lake Union and Downtown including the space needle were memorable, and the staff were great very courteous and helpful with local directions etc.”

• View of the water/location.
• Didn't know ahead of time there was extra charge for parking was asked if we'd be parking a vehicle and when said yes they didn't mention there was a fee.

“Good except for the fact we didn't know until check out there was a fee for parking in their garage. We don't travel enough to think of asking that and they didn't tell us on check in.”

• It was very quiet and we saw the Christmas lights, light on the space needle from our room!
• Not being informed of the $17 for parking.

• Paying to park at hotels when a guest, drives me crazy.

• The location was across the street from Lake Union and restaurants.
• I overlooked a parking lot instead of the water. I could not control the air conditioner. It was automated to run all day and night.

“I spent a great deal of money for three nights and was very disappointed with the view of a parking lot. I also requested a smoking room with a balcony but did not get it.”

• Location and free hotel shuttle to local attractions.
• Construction behind hotel provides automatic 7am wakeup call.

“Great location across the street from Lake Union. We had two adults and two teenagers and could not get a 2-bed room any of our 5-nights there. Granted, the hotel was sold-out most of our stay. Free hotel shuttle to local tourist attractions was great. Free parking in a public lot across the street.”

• Very small rooms, was supposed to be non-smoking room but smelled strong odor of cigarettes.

“I felt we didn't get a good deal on this motel. The rooms were very small and stunk like cigarettes. Construction behind the motel was very noisy. Did not have a good experience at this motel.”

• Nice rooms, pool, exercise room, close to restaurants and walking paths.
• Was hard getting into their entrance because of oncoming traffic.

“We wanted a nice hotel close to where we lived for a quick weekend getaway - Courtyard By Marriott fit this desire to a "t". We liked the large rooms, used the pool and hot tub and exercise room.”

• The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
• Construction was going on outside our window and started at 7:30 am every morning.

“The hotel was convenient to downtown but the free parking across the street, although close, was across a very busy street and somewhat dangerous to get to. Loved the freshly baked cookies and fresh fruit that was available. All the staff were friendly from the desk to the shuttle drivers and the maids.”

“It was elegant when you first walk in the lobby. The room was classy and quite comfortable. The dark wood was really nice. The room temperature was perfect. I loved the bed it was comfortable where some hotels. I have experienced a horrible nights sleep or no sleep at all due to uncomfortable beds. Lovely romantic hotel.”

• Construction noise at 4:11am. Other guests refunded.

“Spacious and attractive lobby and public areas. Intimate bar and good restaurant Rooms adequate in size and well maintained. Housekeeping and front desk very helpful and efficient.”

• Nice location.
• Very uncomfortable beds! Worst I've ever slept on.

“This hotel does not have real beds. The beds are nothing but a large piece of foam. The most uncomfortable bed ever. I had extreme back, shoulder and neck pain after sleeping on their beds. I asked the front desk about the beds and was told they are all the same. Otherwise a nice hotel in a good location but will never ever stay there again because of the beds.”

• Great location close to downtown, nice pool and spa, breakfast buffet was awesome.
• Room was a little small and not too decorated.

“Great hotel for the price. You could walk to downtown if necessary but the hotel also provides a free shuttle. The hotel staff were really friendly making our stay perfect.”

• The location worked well for us, although I prefer other hotels in the area.
• The decor in the room was OK - not great. The outlook from our room was fair to poor.

“The front desk person was great -- a very good personally for meeting & greeting & checking us in. The location is very good. The paid parking is also a plus - our vehicle was secure, which I prefer.”
