“The hotel was in a great location for doing tourist stuff like we did. It was clean and bright, lots of pillows on each bed, which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they provided shuttle service to many events and tours. The pool was outdoors which was not the best, but we did manage to get a swim in one afternoon. Continental breakfast was nice to have as well.”

“A good little hotel. The hotel door was a little thin. We could easily hear people passing by.”

“I stayed in this hotel after the remodeling. We really enjoyed our stay here. The parking was free, it is really close to the Space Needle and Sci-Fi Museum, we walked comfortably to Pikes Market. The only critiques I had were the pool didn't seem to be heated and the spa wasn't that warm, and you could hear your neighbor peeing next door. Other than that I think the hotel was very nice.”

“Really needs a lot of updating. Room was very small and the television was held together with black electrical tape. However, the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating.”

“A nice stay for the solo traveler, the desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The proximity to the Space Needle and Seattle Center cannot be beat. A very comfortable stay.”

“The overall stay was satisfactory; I would have preferred to know that the hotel was under some renovations. The carpet in the room really needed to be replaced; it looked very old and didn't seem clean. Also, my shower did not get hot. (I didn't have time to ask the desk for assistance). The front desk staff was very quick to respond to my concern over a loud neighbor in the hallway. Overall, the hotel was fine for the location and the money. I am sure it will be nicer after renovations are complete.”

“Carpets were filthy, cigarette burns in both comforters on the beds, very small room, no warm or hot water in bathroom sink all night. No microwave or refrigerator which was advertised. Continental breakfast with "hot" items consisted of doughnuts and bagels.”

“Absolutely best bang for the buck, downtown Seattle. And you let my dog stay. $10. Clean, efficient, comfortable. All that I need in a hotel for a night or two.”

“Overall, the comfort of the room was fine. The shower was the only uncomfortable place. The shower head was moldy and the actual shower was very small. But the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, but could use another pillow.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. It was one of the more economical hotels in the area but that's not an excuse for being dirty. The pool looked like a health hazard. There were postings in the elevators about the hotel being under renovation but I didn't see any.”

“While the motel was fairly easy to find, it was clear it was past its prime. One of 2 crank style windows would not close. I called about this but was not fixed. The cool ocean breeze served to somewhat offset the overwhelming smell of old rotten foam rubber in the room, but the noise from the "Night life" in the parking lot kept me up well past 4 AM until the police arrived and vacated the area. In the morning I tried one of the pastries and to my surprise it had been sampled returned to the basket. The one bite I had was very distasteful / stale etc. The elevators make groaning noises which I guessed to be from worn shaft seals & they smelled of leaking hydraulic fluid.”

“The hotel rooms were clean and the service was great. Even though the location was great, the price did not reflect what I expected. The rooms (although clean) were quite outdated. The hotel management asks its patrons to sign an agreement stating that you will not smoke, and if you do, you will be fined $300. I have never had to sign a document like that at any hotel.”

“This is the 3rd stay at this hotel. It is very conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Space Needle and Seattle Center. No extra charge for parking can save $25 per day. Easy access to I5 and the downtown area. Shuttle service to Mariners and Seahawks games.”

“Didn't like finding clothing from previous occupant in the room. Only 1 out of 4 beds had fitted bottom sheet. TV reception was good on some channels - rotten on others. Hot tub not working. Great location for Seattle center and buses to downtown. Old facility but we knew that from the reviews so no surprises.”

“The view of the space needle was fantastic from the windows and from the pool. Overall, the hotel looked run down and old. The vending areas did not work. Computer was offered in the lobby but there was only one and you had to wait in line. No place to eat in vicinity. Within walking distance of several "things to see". Rooms were cramped but air conditioned. Lots of construction around the area of the hotel.”
