• Parking was free.
• Beds are double - queen would be better.

“The hotel was good. They didn't nickel and dime me for things, and gated parking was free. The breakfast was okay, not great - but better than continental style.”

• I really liked the parking underneath the building. It was free and very much appreciated. I also liked the continental breakfast.

“We were very happy with our stay. The front desk was very helpful with questions and the space in the room was just right for our 5 family members. Very close to everything down town and the parking was awesome. Everywhere else charges for parking so to have free and
safe parking was great!”

• Good walking distance location to Monorail and Seattle Center.
• The location could feel safer at night if there had been more lighting around the hotel.

• Convenient to the Seattle Center = Opera House.
• Not on the airport route except paying extra for a connector.

• The location to facilities was great.
• Very old feeling rooms and we had to take cold showers, no hot water!

• Ample free secure parking.
• Noise traveled quite loudly within the hotel (from hallway and from room above).

“Overall it beat my expectations. The staff was friendly, clean room, good parking. My only complaint would be it was quite loud inside the room from hallway noise and the room above.”

• Walking distance to Space Needle, QFC grocery across the street, bus and freeway near, underground secure parking for free.
• Room was not cleaned to my expectations - wrappers and food from last person in room still, ciggy burns in carpet (all non smoking rooms).

“Great location if wanting to go to Seattle Center. Can take the monorail across from the Space needle to get to the Westlake mall and tons of shopping. Underground parking with security gate for free for guests. Rooms were big but didnt seem like they cleaned them- still had trash from the last person in there and coffeemaker was not cleaned when I went to use it. Stayed in room and had a great view of the space needle just a few blocks away. Grocery store across the street with a Starbucks inside for anything you need. Also has a nice continental breakfast that has cereal, milk juice, muffins, and one course like eggs and sausage which was nice to grab before we went out for the day. Would stay there again.”

• I liked that they had a microwave and fridge in the hotel room.
• The beds were a little to soft for my back.

• The helpfulness of the staff and the location.
• The price.

“It is very good looking and close to the tourist sites-so you would not have a far drive, 15 to 20 minutes away. It's down the street from the Space Needle. The room was a little cramped I thought for the price, but not that big a deal. The underground garage at no extra cost was excellent! I wish I had know how tight it was. It was a little scary to park, but maybe traveling with a large SUV is not the best vehicle for a city.”

• Clean, friendly, secure parking, excellent price.
• Nothing.

“I was expecting a just ok hotel. This hotel was way beyond our expectations. The front desk staff was friendly and speedy. The secure parking garage was another bonus. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also included, it was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Seattle. Great price too!”

• Breakfast was decent.
• No children's channel's on the TV!

“Perfectly adequate for traveler's on a budget without children. A big fat drag that the TV didn't have children's movies or a children's channel (Nickelodeon, Disney etc). After a day of sight seeing a little chill time in front of the tube would've been nice.”

• Refusal by staff to compensate for false fire alarm/evacuation in the middle of night.

“Hotel is adequate, but not great. There was a false fire alarm in the middle of the night, and we were all evacuated. We found out from a long term guest that this had occurred on several different occasions. But at checkout the following morning, staff refused to compensate us is any way (even the price of a pay per view movie!) For our inconvenience.”

• Very convenient to the Seattle center, bell town and downtown.
• I can't think of anything negative that we experienced during our stay.

“This is a very nice, family friendly hotel; very clean and quiet. The complimentary daily breakfast buffet is a relaxing way to begin the day, and the food, while not fancy, is good and plentiful. The staffs are all very courteous and helpful. And the secure, underground parking garage gave us a little peace of mind. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we'll return again.”

• The staff was willing to do literally anything to be accommodating.
• The other guest was a bit ordinary, making interaction in common areas a drag.

“From the first minute we walked in, the staff was courteous, engaging, impossibly helpful, and professional. They were willing to not only give us directions, but draw maps, explain bus routes, and even drove us to dinner so we wouldn't have to deal with on street parking. When other guests raised complaints at the front desk, the employees handled them with control and poise. I was impressed, to say the very least. All in all, if you're traveling on a budget, this hotel will exceed your expectations.”
