“Breakfast area was never restocked, only 3 tables, and messy. The 2 times we left and returned, the counter staff was sitting in lobby watching TV.”

“My family and I checked in to spend a holiday with relatives in the area. We checked in after normal business hours and found the evening person slow, he complained constantly about his work load and lack of evening staff. He said he would have to put us in an area not used much in the off season. This was pretty surprising as we had reserved over a month before! We should have probably have taken the hint and moved somewhere else. That night there was noticeably low water pressure in our room. We later noticed the toilet flushing and refilling slowly. In the middle of the night my wife got up to use the washroom and the toilet backed up. We called the front desk and after putting up with a lot of accusations we were flushing out diapers down the toilet, we were moved to another room. The move, we were told was because the night guy said he wouldn't clean out anyone's toilet. Quite a statement as we had already cleaned up the mess. We asked about the slow water pressure again in the new room, worried about a repeat of the previous room. We were assured it was fine, though he refused to check it in our new room. Sure enough, later the next night, after running very slow the toilet plugged again. We called again asking if the was a plunger or something we could use to fix it. Again, we were told we would have to switch rooms. So we were then switched across the hall from our old room. All the rooms were right next to each other. Upon getting into bed I found a pair of dirty stinky socks in the bottom of the bed, between our sheets. Nice. So the next morning, we went off to spend the day with the family. I called in the early afternoon to ask about the room, but never got a chance to ask any questions, as I was informed we had been evicted and out baggage was seized until we could pay for 'damages'. To say the least I was enraged! My wife was in tears! We travel a lot and have never had any problems with any place we have stayed. I went in to talk to the manager and was told he would be there in about an hour. Upon presenting myself to the front desk clerk, I was told he had changed his mind and wouldn't be in that day. I asked for our baggage, and was told she was told to hold it, I then told her to either call the police or I would. She called someone and gave me our bags. I then asked to return to our room to make sure everything was picked up. She gave me a room key and I went to check our former room, and found several items left behind. I then went back and asked when I could talk to the manager, and was told she didn't know, and to maybe call tomorrow. We called the next day and even showed up to try to get an appointment, but were told he was gone for the next few days. Not the story we were told the day before. The front counter clerk was very apologetic and said she was sorry and it wasn't right what happened. No kidding! The manager never did get back to us, nor answer our calls. This place is a joke, between poor treatment and out right farce trying to get a hold of the manager, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I cannot conform it, but a friends co-worker who stayed there more recently complained of what she thought were bedbugs. All the more reason they will never see my family stay there again! The staff rating get a '2' because the day clerk was very apologetic and said she was sorry, but we were not the first to have to chase the manager! ”

“Located in a lousy part of Seattle, not very convenient to the freeway & a high-crime area. I was accosted twice by gang-bangers in two different local restaurants. Don't bring your family here, and Iżd be nervous if you have a nice car or leave belongings inside it. The front desk staff is unprofessional, "slacker" types. I needed to use the Laundromat, front desk had no idea how much change Iżd need, and when the detergent machine was out of stock they had a "who cares?" attitude about that. Basically the desk staff invites friends into the lobby from outside, and hang out watching TV all day & night. The street out front is prowled by folks in gang-banger outfits who try to pick fights with you, so basically you get in your car & drive to your appointments, which in spite of the advertisement is a real pain because the access to the freeway is several blocks away. I'll never stay at this place again, and recommend against it. Not worth the money, definitely a one-star or less.”

“The hotel works well if you simply need a place to stay the night while passing through town. The bathroom is very small. The free breakfast is not as good as others I have seen from similar starred hotels.”

“This hotel is in a convenient location north of Seattle and is reasonably priced (although I have stayed in downtown Seattle for less $). The room was smaller and more cramped than I had expected, particularly the bathroom. Overall, however, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

“I traveled to Seattle with my 82 year old mother for my son's wedding. When I booked the room I was not aware that my mother would be traveling with me. I tried to upgrade the room accommodations, later, and was unable. I had to settle for roll-away bed in a single sized room that had a queen been. Pretty tight. And, the roll-away was very uncomfortable. Lots of Aleve in the morning. I would have been better off buying an air mattress and sleeping on the floor.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for any reason. There was what appeared to be dried bodily fluids on the carpet and cigarette butts under the bedside table. I was afraid to touch anything. When we pulled in late in the evening a police car was cruising the parking lot and the bar across the street was teeming with drug addicts and alcoholics.”
