“Staff got me checked in a little early as I arrived around 2PM No housekeeping or maid service if you stay for under a week but really had plenty of towels and could get whatever you needed at the front desk. The staff was helpful and the rooms were very nice with efficiency style setup with stove, microwave, fridge and sink. Overall was a great place to stay and very quiet. Laundry on premise and very nice building, clean and not seedy looking.”

“First of all I want to share that I am a mellow person and not picky about much at hotels. I have never written a hotel review before, but I felt obligated to do so because I had such a bad experience. I had to stay here because I was coming to a workshop that was within walking distance, but if I ever come back I will make sure to stay elsewhere and take the bus. The front desk service and management were horrible. My room mate and I made them aware of all of the issues, ended up begging to get any response, apology or compensation. We arrived and they had cancelled our entire room block. They said it was full and then magically found us a room half hour later (and about 20 others who had been cancelled too). However, my room mate and I had to switch rooms 3 times in the first day of arrival and stayed in a single when we booked a double - which we were charged for and had to ask twice just to take the $10 off the rate for staying in a single. Everything smells like smoke. We booked a non-smoking room, and the last straw was when my room mate walked into the room into a fresh cloud of smoke. Our once-a-week cleaning had been done and the AC messed with so obviously the housekeepers had been smoking in our room while working. Disgusting since I am allergic. There was no toilet paper available for an entire week. We asked for more and their response was that they had already been to the Cash-n-Carry twice that day. We had to provide our own for our first week there. My room mate asked for a washcloth and was handed a raggedy dishcloth for her face because she was told they were out. We were in Seattle during the record breaking heat wave and our AC did not work - only the fan and would cut off without warning. The front desk's response was that the maintenance man was in the hospital. Our fridge leaked on the inside and got all of our food wet. Half of the washers in the laundry room were out of order our first week of the stay. We asked for a bus map or any information about the closest bus stop and they couldn't help us. We were told we would be charged half our stay the first week and the rest upon checkout, however, they charged the entire stay to my credit card early. I could go on and on about these issues and the worst part is that not one person seemed to care. We called numerous people and were disconnected, put on hold, connected to other managers who could do nothing, and were told we would be called back and we never got a response. I knew someone who stayed here the previous summer and had an issue with bed bugs and she said the management didn't seem to care then, so I should have been warned but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Please don't go here if you expect any kind of normal hotel service or necessities because they won't provide it. Absolutely the most ridiculous hotel experience I have ever had. Other helpful info: Aurora Ave. is sketchy, especially at night- which is the main road outside the hotel. There are a few places outside the hotel within walking distance that are good to visit, like Albertson's grocery across the street and a yogurt place called Melon in the same shopping area. There are not too many restaurants within walking distance other than a fast seafood place (good service there - I think it's called Ivan's or Ivar's?), an Outback, and a Starbucks on Aurora. The 358 bus on Aurora will take you downtown Seattle, which is a much better experience than this area. This bus can be a little sketchy, so only take it during the day if you are solo. Another fun place to catch a bus to is Green Lake Park, which is not too far away.”

“Clients seem to be sportsmen, craftsmen and outdoors people. We need to have kitchen because of dietary needs and were satisfied with simple setting, but would like to have had more room/bath cleaning service.”

“Met our expectations for price, location, but the smell of the room was terrible. A few months ago we stayed at another Seattle extended stay and they too had a strong cleaning solution smell. A great place if you need just a simple place to stay for the night. Likely won't be staying here again until the rooms smell less like disinfectant would really prefer non-scented and non-toxic cleaning agents be used.”

“Extended Stay hotels were just right for my 3 night trip to Seattle. I could bring my own food, make coffee and do my business all day. When I cam home, it was clean, cool enough on a hot day, and quiet. The internet service was fast enough, but it was not free as advertise.”

“While the kitchen was a nice asset, there was no soap or sponge provided to keep cleaning leading to doubts to cleanliness of provided dishes. The location stinks if you actually plan on being in Seattle, far from everything. Recliner was stained, bed was fine, bathroom was decent. Overall, a little run down and out of the way but a decent value, just bring everything you need and don't expect housekeeping.”

“Having kitchen facilities is nice, but it greats you when you walk in, not an attractive sight, bed too firm and uncomfortable, no toiletry products provided except for mediocre soap, not a terrible experience but not special.”

“This is a business travelers hotel with your own kitchen and fridge. The staff was friendly and the rooms were quiet. While the hotel is in Seattle, it is about a half hour by bus to get downtown. Luckily, there is good bus access. My room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a no smoking room.”

“Very clean and friendly staff. Asked for a non- smoking room with a king but got a smoking room with a queen or smaller bed. You would not want to stay here without a car since few things are within walking distance.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice clean room, friendly accommodating staff, kitchenette was quite handy, fairly close to downtown (we utilized transit one day). Other than some noisy upstairs neighbors one night we had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely use again.”

“Having the kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, etc., was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Heater/AC worked nicely. Not at all a fancy hotel, but when you turn out the lights it looks like any other hotel, except the bed was firm and the pillow was thin. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot, but heard very little noise even being next to the stairwell.”

“The room itself smelled ok but the bathroom was smoky and the blanket and sheets had burn holes from cigarettes all over. The people above us was running and jumping around until 3 AM. I made my complain and his response was, "I will send a fax to the front desk so they will get it in the morning." When I asked how will that resolve my problem at this time he said, "I will write this up for you right now." Knowing that they will not do anything to assist I took matter to my own hands and went upstairs to tell them to stop jumping around 3 in the morning. Bottom line, service was little to none and if you are lucky and do not have a noisy neighbor you might be able to get some sleep.”

“It is located next to a machine shop so the view is of scrap metal, etc. The carpets smelled like they hadn't been shampooed in years, the front desk staff was unprofessional, they ran out of coffee and didn't bother to make more, there were no soaps, lotions, conditioners were provided in the restroom, limited cable access, no swimming pool.”
