• The room was quite. We felt like we shut out the world.
• You had to pay $15.00 usd for parking.

“Excellent hotel. We were very pleased with the room and helpfulness of the staff. We would stay here again.”

• The breakfast was great and we loved the pool hours also.
• The bed was not good. Way to small.

• Exercise room was nice. Pool was heated.
• Can't control heat or air in your rooms. The lobby does it for the entire hotel.

• The hotel has wonderful veiws every where.
• The bed was not comfortbale.

“I really like this hotel becasue it was really easy to cheeck in. I got my room really quick and I really love the the inside with all the trees. I really like the free drinks! That was really nice.
I love the veiw of the bay from my bedroom window it was really romanic. I was there for my one year aniversary. With my boyfriend and we really loved it! We will be going there again.”

• My wife is afraid of height and the hotel wasn't friendly for that.

• Free cocktails at night. Cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning.
• Too much foliage in the atrium.

“A definite plus for the business traveler. If you don't have business in Burlingame, you'd better be prepared to drive quite a distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. Clean and quiet. Breakfast is outstanding. Prices in hotel restaurant are high. Hotel staff really understands customer service.”

• Clean, roomy on the bay.
• Noisy airplanes flying over all the time.

“The hotel was out of the way and you could not reach any destination with out having a ride. The room was clean and tidy the grounds were beautiful, but the noise was horrible we were in a direct flight path and plane flew all night.”

• Close to airport but quiet. Rooks overlooking San Francisco bay have amazing view.
• You are isolated at hotel if you do not have a car regarding walk able restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

“Pretty typical Embassy Suite hotel which means rooms, restaurant are consistent and what you might expect which is not a bad thing. I used the hotel for late arrival and as a place to sleep for my very early flight the next morning. Front desk staff was great. Wonderful view of San Francisco bay if you score a bay view room. Great walking/jogging path at hotel, as part of the park trails that follows the shore for a long way. If you don't have a car you will be isolated from other restaurants or grocery stores.”

• Fantastic breakfast, staff was extremely helpful, wonderful ambient, happy hour, fantastic bay view.
• Noisy airplanes, but not so much :).

“The Hotel was very nice as described below. It has a beautiful lobby with atrium, restaurant and bars. The pool was mostly clean. Sauna and Jacuzzi were amazing. Also the receptionists were very helpful and friendly. For us as Germans it was very nice that two of them were Germans too! :) We would come back to this Hotel for another SF stay!”

• Location of hotel was extraordinary! Ocean side hotel with a great view!
• Was checked into a room that had not been cleaned yet. Was switched to a better quality room though.

• Location and breakfast was nice and convenient.
• Room temperature issues.

“This embassy suite was located in a great area. Breakfast was nice and breakfast staff was great! We had mechanical problems with the rooms though. First rooms AC was broken. It was almost 90 degrees in the room. It took three attempts to convince front desk staff to move us to another room. Second rooms AC was working but had a constant very loud fan sound that made it difficult to sleep. In the evening the lobby was very loud. It would have been more convenient if they had more laundry areas. Parking was terrible. At times we could not find a parking space.”

• The room was a smoking room.

“I asked the hotel clerk for a non-smoking room. But room stunk of cigarette smoke, had to sleep with patio doors open and finally brewed a pot of coffee at 2 in the morning to cover the smell. So everything was 5 star, except the room.”

“Loved hotel - some areas needed updates. Area location beautiful. We used it as a stopover for airport but you actually could consider this your main hotel. Amenities were great, view excellent. staff (what there was) was terrific.”

• I love the Managers Special, it's very nice for an evening night cap. I also love the complimentary full breakfast.
• Check out was at 1:00, but I left for a short trip around 9, got back at 10:00 am and was already locked out of my room.

“I really like the Embassy Suites Hotel. When going on trips we always try to stay at one due to the niceness, cleanliness, the Manager's Special and the full complimentary breakfast. It's just always been a really nice experience for me and my family.”

• Charges for parking and internet.

“This hotel has newly remodeled rooms which are nice and the free breakfast is always welcome. However, they have started charging $10 per night for parking and $9.99 for internet while other hotels in the same area offer those services for free. The parking charge is inconsistent as I have stayed there before and not been charged.”
