• In front of the ocean. Modern ambience. Affordable.
• Should offer free wired internet. Did not have slippers.

“I stayed in this hotel overnight to catch an early morning flight. First, it offers free shuttle from the Bart station or Airport. So that helped to save some money on a roundtrip taxi. The hotel is in front of the ocean and has very warm colors and comfortable ambience. The room is well equipped with LCD TV, internet access (extra charge) and the soap and shampoo are good quality. The bar and restaurant is not cheap, but the price is reasonable for a hotel of this level. I used the gym's stationary bike, free weights and machines. Then I went for a swim. The pool is small for a lap swimmer. It's fine for family with children who just want to relax and play. Afterward I enjoyed the whirlpool and had dinner at the bar. The mini burgers with fries was sufficient for me after the above workout. Though at night I had a neighbor who made a lot of noise from certain activities. I thought the noise insulation could be better. Overall it's a very pleasant hotel to stay whether you are taking a flight or not. I will definitely come back.”

• They had an airport shuttle that ran every 10 minutes.
• Charged for water in the room. The Hilton did not.

“The hotel was fantastic. The beds provided the best sleep I had on the whole trip, they were heavenly! Very courteous hotel staff.”

• Location cleanliness, friendly staff, walking path outside hotel.
• Had to pay for parking 25.00.

“Very easy to get to from SFO airport,2 miles down service road from airport recently redecorated room, walking path outside hotel which runs along the bay, one drawback was 25.00 for parking, they do have shuttle service to and from airport.”

• Was disappointed about paying $18 per night for parking.

• CLEAN! Nice staff, safe location, great food.
• No choice to park for free.

“Great hotel, traveled as a family with 2 young children. They enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the calamari appetizers at the restaurant. Convenient location for taking the BART to the city. Very clean rooms and nice flat screen TV. Will definitely stay here again!”

• The experience was what I expected.
• I was charge 18 dollars for parking.

“It was perfect. I stay 2-3 days every week in San Francisco and have saved so much money, and I really thank you, Marriot. The hotel was great but would like to know if there will be any extra fees (like parking, valet or WiFi charges. Again, my hotel was great, thank you.”

• Convenient to airport, BART station nearby, restaurants nearby.
• Parking fee, no free internet unless you brought your own computer.

“This hotel has very nicely appointed, clean rooms with great views of the bay and airport and a very nice walking path along the water. The lobby bar is attractive with floor to ceiling windows offering a view (although the windows needed a cleaning) and comfortable couches. Great location for anyone with an early flight out of SFO.”

• The rooms were excellent, clean, quite, and the beds were like sleeping on clouds.
• The Starbucks closed to early.

“I needed a hotel close to the SFO airport, and this place was perfect. Unique dinning facilities within 5 miles of hotel. A fantastic walkway out back that goes for miles (for exercise or a romantic walk) with a full view of aircraft landing and taking off. By the looks of the lobby, an excellent place for meetings, and the exercise room/pool/Jacuzzi fantastic.”

• Room was spacious and well decorated.
• Lobby was cold, breakfast pricy.

“We stayed as a short hop due to proximity to airport. The hotel was very nice and newly remodeled. Room was spacious and clean. However, being close to airport, it's not close to much else. Breakfast in the hotel was expensive and unless you wanted a roll from Starbucks, you had no other options.”

• Exceptionally well maintained property, with an extremely friendly and helpful staff.
• Internet access cost an extra $10 per day--other hotels provide it at no extra cost.

• None they booked someone else in the same room with me and they expected me to sleep in a sofa-bed.

“I am an Elite Level traveler in over 4 airlines, I travel 200 days of the year. I'm always denied decent and courteous service. If this continues, I will just have my staff book us a corporate rate and pay extra rather than experience these unpleasantries.”

• Nice room, great view of airport.
• They charged me $18 for parking, $ 14 for internet.

“This is a nice hotel just south of the airport. However, you need to be aware of the hidden charges. If you drive, then expect to pay $18 per day for parking. If you want internet you pay $14 per day. There are other hotels of the same level which provide both of these for free plus a free breakfast. I don't know why Marriott feels they can charge for this.”

• I couldn't find the hairdryer until I was packing to leave. Put it in the bathroom, not the closet.
