• Close to the airport.
• Understaffed.

“Very close to the airport, friendly staff, but it seemed understaffed in my opinion. There was a line at check-in and also the restaurant staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. That being said, all in all I would recommend the hotel to others.”

“This place had several hidden costs. Internet and parking. I was not told about the internet costs until after I used it.”

• Close to the airport and late pm / early am shuttle.
• Hallway carpets and finishes worn.

“On a very cold night the staff did not advise that a special switch was needed to make the heater work, and it was very late and too tired to ask for assistance.”

• Convenient location to the airport. Friendly staff.
• $12 to park at hotel as a guest. Elevator smelled bad.

“Overall, the staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel is excellent in relation to sfo. It is, however, a little noisy due to air traffic and you have to pay $12 a night to park at the hotel even though you're staying there as a guest. The elevator smelled awful, but the room was clean and I have no major complaints.”

• The room was nice and large.
• The pool was not heated.

“For being so close to the air port it feels quiet. It was easy to get to down town S.F. It has a nice open court yard and pool area that is nicely shaded with mature trees. The entry off of the main road is not well marked and only says Clarion airport parking by the parking lot ticket gate. So I kept driving past it.”

• How nice the hotel and its amenities were.
• The daily parking fee.

“This hotel is great if you want to fly out of San Francisco's airport because the hotel is next to it with free shuttle service. The hotel has a steep parking fee. The hotel itself was very attractive and nice at the price to stay on a Friday night. However, I wish I had not tried to reserve a hotel near the airport. At the time, the hotel seemed like a good deal and it was only 16 miles from my real destination, San Francisco. I could have stayed in San Francisco for that much and I would have been closer! This is a warning for those like me who do not realize not to stay near the airports when it is unnecessary.”

• Hallways too dark and dreary.

“I like the location they need to repaint the hallways a lighter color to make it brighter and more up to date. The room was very clean and nice crisp sheets.”

• Hall way's Carpet color is looking like dirt.

• This hotel is a nice-comfortable hotel with affordable price. The room is roomy and neat. All staffs are friendly and helpful.
• The parking spot is quite small. I was scared to hit other people' car when I opened my door.

• Near the airport, easy access to freeway, rooms is big, cheap internet access.
• Hear the planes taking off due to being beside the take off. You have to pay for parking in the hotel lot. Hard to find a parking space, spaces small.

“For the price including the parking fee it is almost the same as the better hotel in the area and might not have to deal with airport noise, due to being beside the plane take off area.”

• Comfortable bed.
• Lousy restaurant. Parking not free.

“Very close to the airport. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Not a good location for those without cars. Car parking was not free. The restaurant was not fully open when we were there, only seating available at the bar (which was full), so we had to go to the Westin (next door) which was more expensive.”

“We would likely use this hotel again the next time we go to the area. It was nicely located (although some noise issue with the airport) and clean.”

• Not very attractive on the inside. rooms are ok.

“Hotel is ok for the price. it needs to be remodeled soon. There are a lot of other hotels that are much nicer in the area. I don't believe that this hotel lives up the name clarion. I have stayed at much nicer Clarion hotels. Was a little disappointed by this one.”

• Top quality, clean, friendly.
• Needed more help in restaurant too limited seating.

“Really liked this hotel. Wanted to go to restaurant early 4:30pm. Did not want to sit at bar, would have liked accommodation to sit maybe even on other side of half wall close to where serving was been done, all tables were taken there, and only one woman holding down the whole place. The other was busy with room service. Food was excellent though. Know you cannot staff the same during not so busy times. All in all was an excellent experience.”
