  • Free Internet and a very roomy shower.
  • The mattress needs to be replaced.

“Good location to the Financial District and public transportation, great staff. The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable.”

  • Location, extra complimentary amenities, WiFi, coffee, and water.

“Very nice. Would hope to stay here again!”

  • The staff was extremely helpful.
  • There are no rooms with two double beds.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. I shared the room with a colleague, so we had to stay in a room with two twin beds.”

  • Location and they had a purified water station. That is it though!
  • It was absolutely awful! The walls were thin, I could hear others talking in the other room. Smoke from other rooms came in through air system.

“This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I am an avid traveler. The location was good and the lobby looked fine, but when you got into the room it was horrible. I knew it would be incredibly difficult for me to get another room on New Year's Eve, so we stayed thinking that it is just a place to sleep. It was absolutely not even a place to sleep! The walls were extremely thin. We could hear others talking all night in the room next to us, and they were just talking, not being overly loud. We could hear every word and every noise they were making. We literally could not sleep all night and into the morning. The cigarette smoke from the other rooms seeped our room through the air system. Pretty soon we were coughing from the smoke in our non-smoking room. The room and hotel was just terrible. I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone over the age of 21! I felt like I was in a college dorm not a hotel.”

  • Noise was uncontrollable. We were not able to hear the TV over the noise or sleep.

“Terrible security & front desk.”

  • Fill-your-own water bottles, free purified water.
  • Thermostat hard to control. It shouldn't take an engineer to work it.

“Pros: Location, guest services, free water fill-your-own bottles, small but cozy rooms, comfortable beds, guest closet in hall with various items, cool-looking hotel, need key card to access elevator for security, microwave and fridge! Cons: Rooms are somewhat small but not terrible, room was cold and thermostat was hard to program.”

  • Location.
  • No views, and no natural light.

“Felt like a converted prison block, because of how it was built, small windows. Being downtown, felt there could have been views.”

  • Very European feel with discreet service and good business room.
  • Rooms are too small. No ice machine available.

“This boutique hotel has a European feel. The furnishings are contemporary but still convey a warm feeling. Service was excellent and there were no add-ons to my price. I will return.”

Oct 14, 2009 by Alex from New Haven,CT

  • It was clean and very professional.
  • The downtown location was a bit isolated.

“Great hotel, decent location, good price.”

  • Location.
  • Room was too small.

“We had made a reservation for two but only received one hand/face towel. The room, especially the bathroom was very small. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The added security of using your room key to access any floor from the elevator was excellent.”

  • Location.
  • Small rooms, not at 3 1/2, this is a 3 stars hotel.

“This is not a 3 1/2 stars hotel, this is a 3 stars hotel. The rooms were small and it's hard to believe that the building was constructed to be a hotel, it looks more like a building that was turned into a hotel with long corridors, and not privacy.”

“The coffee pot didn't work, and there's no iron in the room. Came back the following day after being gone for 8 hrs, and the room hadn't been cleaned. The key card wouldn't open the door when we returned, because the battery was dead.”

  • Staff
  • No continental breakfast!!

“Okay for business traveler but lack of continental breadfast, gaping bathroom door and cramped room makes for something less than impressive.”

Sep 11, 2009 by Toni from Broken Arrow,OK

  • The service was good.
  • Way too small of a room.

“Would be okay for a single business traveler.”

  • it's location was convenient
  • parking was not included and was expensive at $32 per night

“i had high expectations about the hotel from the pictures on the web and based on our prior priceline experience in the hilton in pasadena and the sheraton suites in san diego. However i was quite disappointed compared to our previous experiences. The rooms were dark unwelcoming. The reception aera was of a similar nature. We had extremely diasppointing seervice in the elephant and castle for breakfast and the food was also poor. it was quite noisy in the room where I satyed i.e. 901 and as mentioned earlier parking was expensive at $32 per night.”

  • Location.
  • Staff knowing
I had a room but making me wait like an idiot while they figured it out.

“Low quality very tiny rooms that have paper thin walls.”

  • It was close to the metro and the Ferry Building.
  • The room are tiny and wall paper thin.

“This hotel would suite the most utilitarian travelers i.e. someone who just needs a clean place to stay. Not good for a relaxing vacation in the least.”

  • It was in a great location.
  • The bathroom smelled of urine and the rooms were tiny.

“This hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful but the rooms were far too small, even for one person, and although the bathroom appeared very clean it smelled of urine.”

  • At the end of the hall they had filtered water and bottles. That was nice.
  • It was small, uncomfortable and loud.

“Well the pictures did not due justice to what the room actually was. It was a disappointment. Because of the pictures and the way the web site described the place, I thought we were in for a treat. Not the case. The rooms were small, and old. It looked like they put some nice new up to date sheets on the bed and expected people to pay top dollar for it. I have stayed in a motel 6 that was nicer. Also, when we arrived I didn't feel very welcome.”

  • Conveniently located, friendly staff, have security control on access to each floor.
  • The room is relatively small and the lighting are not bright enough.

“Worth the money.”
