“It was beautiful. The unit was spacious with heaven sky ceilings, massive windows that bowed gracefully out making you feel like you were in some sort of ship in the sky. Wonderful views. Very comfortable decor. Super clean area so close to Embarcadero. Area was clean and safe. I don't mind a clean corporate feeling to where I stay since it makes me feel safe. Completely quiet. It was also very close to other more flavorful San Francisco neighborhoods. I was very impressed. It was a fabulous location for my jaunts all over the city and across the bridge into Marin. I wished my home looked like this. Nothing wrong with staff - good - seemed fine when I interacted with them - helpful and said 'hi' in the morning, but since everything else was spectacular and for me. The staff had to be satisfied with a 7 (good/great). Around that time, I stayed at the Ritz (SF) for a week which was not as nice and had just stayed at the Waldorf and Waldorf Towers in NYC for a week and a half and it was a lot less nice. This was about as nice as the Stanford Park Hotel (with a fireplace room) which was a beautiful hotel.”
