• Highly professional staff, clean & tasteful facility, and was extremely convenient.
• Valet parking cost $55. Would have self-parked had I known.

“The facility is lovely and the staff very pleasant. For touring the city, it was convenient to public transportation. Will definitely not rent a car next time - parking very expensive. Our 22nd floor room had a nice view.”

• Everything.
• Cleanser smell in the room.

“Our stay was excellent. The location was perfect for going to Chinatown, Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach and the many night clubs and restaurants in the area. The hospitality was amazing. The building is beautiful and provided a breath taking view of the city from the 36th-floor cocktail lounge. Our room was elegant and cozy.”

• It was valet parking only and cost $50/day.

• Great location- middle of Union Square. Clean room. Good housekeeping.
• Terrible customer service. Unfriendly check-in staff. Expensive parking.

House keeping shows up very early-8am so if you don't want to be disturbed put out the card.”

• The location was great for shopping and the event we went to see. It is also close to the train stations.

“The Grand Hyatt Union Square is located right in the middle of the best shopping and close to terrific restaurants, China Town and transportation. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were inviting and overall everything was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Very well located to all the high end shopping and cable car transportation.
• No internet access except at a high price.

“If you like to shop - stay here. You can get to the Wharf easily by cable car too and the Bart is nearby. Good central location.”

• The hotel need major renovation dated decor.

“Hotel is dated. Need major renovation update to the rooms. Wall paper in bathroom is peeling and the decor (carpet, wall treatment and furnishing) need to be updated.”

“Great hotel for the price. Great location for shopping and dining. We parked at union square for about $20 less than the hotel charges. Less than a 5 minute walk. Would stay there again!”
