• Price, location and room size.
• No view.

“Nice clean and friendly hotel. Great location for shopping and catching cable car. Would of preferred a room with a view, but for the price it was worth it. Dinner was excellent, not a place for big eaters because the portion size was on the small side, but great atmosphere and fantastic taste. Parking is reasonable if you drive a block further and park at the Stockton garage. Room size was perfect and my wife loved the bathroom with all the Aveda products.”

• Location, price.
• Bed was too firm and staff did not go beyond the call of duty.

“The location and price are this hotel's best assets. I would recommend eating elsewhere including breakfast. Staff was nice but did not go out of their way to be helpful. Rooms could use an update on TV's and mattresses.”

• Excellent for the price we pay, service, attentions for the customers : very pleasant stay.
• Nothing (may be a separate shower to be really perfect).

“Pleasant room, sound system, cosmetic aveda, free connection, lap top in the lobby, breakfast included, good location not the best part but perfect for tourist and easy to move and a very good staff.”

• The provided a small gift to my partner in recognition of her birthday.
• The mattress was firm and I prefer a pillow top style mattress.

“Located just a block from Union Square in San Francisco. Easy walk to numerous restaurants, nightclubs, bars and shopping. Hotel is comfortable and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my second stay here. Valet parking is reasonable at $34 per day. The next cheapest option is the Stockton garage a half block away at $33 but you don't have in/out privileges.”

• Great complimentary breakfast.
• Located on top of a hill, walking back with strollers was not easy.

“Everything in the hotel was up-to-date. Free high speed Internet and complimentary breakfast were both great features we were looking for because the trip was both business & we had our young children with us. Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to SF.”
