• Decor was terrific. Service was great. Pleasant surprise.
• The neighborhood could be considered sketchy by some.

“Clean, very chic, great service. Room was cool - from the lighting to the decor to the little details. Modern and friendly. Small but felt European. Flat panel LCD TV and amazing hot shower. Organic sample toiletries. Now the not-so-good: The location borders on Civic Center/Tenderloin and feels a little unsafe at night. Also, room was small. Noise through the walls was noticeable. But overall, great value and I would definitely stay again.”

• Great staff, meeting other travelers for wine!
• Tiny room!

“Nice, clean hotel. Great Staff, very friendly and courteous. The room is tiny (think Paris). As for the location we had no problem with pan handling (and we are 2 women), even walking down the street to the local Indian restaurant, but have no doubt you are in the tenderloin.”

• The hotel and the room met or exceeded my expectations, nonetheless. The location was poor.
• The location of the hotel was quite poor and at times, scary.

“Great hotel for the price and the room was magnificent. The location of the hotel was downright scary for a business traveler into San Francisco.”

• Great architecture in lobby, European style, wine in evening, clean.
• Small rooms, bad location.

“Nice lobby, wine in evening in mezzanine was nice touch. Rooms are clean but small. Hotel location is one drawback. It is a good value for tech city but, not in the greatest area in San Francisco.”
