“The Hotel Nikko was very comfortable (great bed!) and clean. We were very close to the Powell Street Station, which gave us access to BART, MUNI and the cable cars. The concierge was very helpful in helping us plan our days.”

“I had a good time, but I won't be bidding on 4 or 3 1/2 stars hotels on West Union Square to avoid this hotel. The room was too small and I had to pay $20 for an upgrade to a room with a decent size. Beware if you get this hotel you'll be needing to pay extra.”

“ The hotel was very nice, but the facilities were very small. The room didn't have a dresser to unpack. Since we were there for more than one night, it was hard to get comfortable and organized without any dressers to put our stuff in. The bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, just too small. The staff was great and very friendly. ”

“We have stayed at several SF hotels using Priceline. We have always had excellent service and rooms. Hotel Nikko staffers were highly inattentive! Bellman made no attempt to help. No valet was in sight. 2 clerks at the desk moved in slow motion. The room service and housekeepers were superb! Hope we don't get Hotel Nikko on our next Priceline adventure!”

“ Located in the center of San Francisco. Direct surrounded by lots of shops and very near to the cable car. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Not too big but big enough for us. Lovely big window with view. We enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the expensive parking. ”

“The hotel is very nice, clean and very affordable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks adjacent to the hotel and it makes for a very short jaunt for a good cup of Joe.”

“I wasn't impressed with the Hotel Nikko. When we arrived, the hotel register treated us pretty indifferently. Once we go to our room, we were disappointed in that it was hardly decorated - nor did it have a small table and 2 chairs for having coffee, wine, etc. Instead, we could only use the office chair and the bed to sit and chat. Also - as stated above - the dishes were very, very dirty - I do not believe they went through a washer from the previous tenant. That's a health hazard.”

“Very nice hotel. The location was convenient to every type of public transportation. About 1 block from the cable car, and two from all the busses and streetcars we used. The room was big and quiet and the bathroom was very large for a hotel. We had to pay an extra $20 a night to get a room with two beds instead of one king. Even then, it was a good deal for the hotel and location. We were very satisfied.”

“The Hotel Nikko has beautiful rooms and the rooms are very quiet. The parking is ridiculous. $52.00, though there is public parking across the street at $30.00.”

“The location of the hotel in San Francisco is excellent. The atmosphere inside is somewhat formal/business-like, not quite romantic. Starbucks in the lobby is great. Parking and WiFi very expensive, but a 24 hour public parking is across the street or park the car at a BART station for 5 dollars a day.”

“Got a great room, then proceeded to have to pay extra for 2 beds, internet access, pool/weight room access, and $50+ per night for parking (after taxes). Showers was very small and hard to move around in (I'm not a big guy either). Staff was very helpful with anything I needed. Overall a nice hotel that ended up being very expensive.”

“Hotel Nikko is super clean! I never saw a hotel with stainless steel doors and elevators doors that just gleamed without fingerprints! The lobby is white granite with a small staircase waterfall. Very business like and while sofas and modern orange floor lights were there, it was more of a walk through. The decor of our room was blue and brown with white comforter bedding and a blue throw. Warm and snuggly. A wonderful bed to fall into after an exhausting day of climbing and deciding the streets of San Fran! The bathroom was updated with a black granite counter and mounted circular modern sink! Kohler outstanding!”
