“It was a nice location. The fee for parking that was not disclosed really did not sit well with me.”

“Location was good. Room was on the 1st floor and we experienced a lot of outdoor noise, foot traffic, workers. This made the experience less than desirable. Parking at the Hotel was more expensive than usual.”

“I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express right next door to the Holiday Inn. I went in there to check in by mistake and the hotel looked nicer, free breakfast, and a more friendly staff. The room that we stayed at was just your basic hotel room. It was actually in another building that was across the street from the main one. The room was right at street level and the buses that went by were very noisy. Parking cost $37 a night at this hotel. All in all it was an ok hotel for the location.”

“This hotel is ok but not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. It is a bit run down and could use a re-haul. The location is excellent just one block away from Fisherman's Wharf.”

“The room we were given was a handicapped room, which meant the walk in shower had a shower head that was too low. This was the only room available. The room was also facing a bus or truck route and so was noisy in the early morning. Small details like this spoiled the overall effect, which was otherwise good.”

“The hotel was comfortable, clean and centrally located to where we wanted to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Don't eat breakfast at the hotel unless you have money to throw away. It was $18.95/person and definitely not an $18.95 type meal.”

“Six of us came to San Francisco on short notice for our moms birthday and a surprise visit from her sister who flew into SF from Chicago for the occasion. The front desk was able to get us close by each other, the rooms were clean, and best of all, affordable. We were close to everything and taxis were on the spot to get us where we needed to go.”

“We checked in early so had our bags stored with the bellman. When we returned, we had to wait while the bellman was paged. He didn't respond, so security opened the door so we could claim our luggage. The room wasn't adequately prepared for three guests. Overall though, we spent so little time in our room, that we didn't mind that it was just average quality.”

“They wanted us to use the same towels all week, otherwise it is a very nice hotel and the room was adequate for a handicap person, but, I was not they had a nice lobby and over price restaurant.”

“The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was not very knowledgeable of the area but that was okay. What I really disliked was that I had to ask front desk for bell service when I arrived and even then nobody showed up in a timely manner and they weren't even busy. We ended up unloading our own things. They were helpful loading our things when we left. It was a great location and very safe. Parking was too expensive and the sign said $35 and it was really $37 plus tax. Overall it was a good experience and I am somewhat likely to be back and recommend it to friends.”

“This is a very nice hotel and really close to the wharf. Just know: Parking $42/night reservation from check-in to check-out-wireless internet costs after 1 day (Value motels have it included, why can't they?). The Restaurant downstairs is a rip off (costs 2x more than normal) but better options for your money are: Breakfast-Pompanos (spell?). On Columbus right by hotel/sign to your right as you exit the Hotel. Lunch-Sandwich shop in lobby by hotel Restaurant Snack/treat- Niaia(spell?) Gelato or Italian natural ice cream on Columbus heading SE on north side of street just after a small park-15 min walk? Dinner-Stinking Rose Italian food on right or south side of Columbus past the Gelato shop 25 min walk?”
