  • I really enjoyed the friendly and courteous treatment from the staff. Your employee was very helpful with things I needed for the room.
  • I did not have any dislikes with your hotel.

“The Crossland Hotel was a nice place to stay. It had user friendly rooms and was centrally located between Towne Center and The Tacoma Mall. I would recommend that you stop by and give it a try.”

  • The staff was friendly.
  • The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

“The staff was friendly. They only cleaned our room once in the week we were there and if we wanted to get it cleaned again they wanted to charge us for it. The kitchenette was nice to have. The shower was to small and the beds were very, hard and extremely uncomfortable.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • Close to freeway.
  • Staff was incompetent. Had to re-key my room keys twice. 1st time was after security entered my room to verify my occupancy, 2nd time they goofed.

“Very small rooms. Okay for single travelers. Bed was very firm. Room had Bed, small closet, TV, small table, kitchenette, and bathroom. The hotel was recently painted, but the carpet was somewhat older.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Convenient, easy access to highway.
  • It was noisy at times- I could hear the water running from the upstairs shower & it woke me up in middle of night.

“Good for business travelers.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[5] • Location:[6]

  • The rooms have all the comforts of home.
  • The fact that they let the travelers animals poop in the grass in front of your room.

“The price that I paid was great it was well worth it. My hotel stay was nice, I just wished that they had a better selection of TV channels to watch.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[3] • Location:[5]

  • Low price, the availability of a kitchen.
  • Not professional staff.

“The hotel is cheap so I cannot complain too much. The availability of a kitchen pays for the lack of restaurants around. The hotel staff messed with my room twice - first time I received keys from the dirtiest room not touched after the previous tenants moved out. Second time - when I was given someone else's room (clean, however) and we found that out in the middle of the night when the other tenants (or who knows who) tried to opened it, and then came back with the maid pretending they "left some possessions". What a shame for the hotel!”

  • Convenient location.

“Very simple accommodations, what you would expect from a 1 star hotel.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • It had a small kitchen. Nice to store drinks, leftovers, etc.
  • The bed was as hard as a rock! Like cement with a sheet on it.

“It was fine for an overnight stay. For business travel, it is convenient to have the small kitchen. However, I could not have slept in the bed another night. I ached all over the next morning! It was terrible.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[10] • Location:[6]

  • Proximity to freeway and great 24hr restaurant next door.
  • No Kleenex or hair dryer in the room.

“This hotel met our needs for this short, overnight trip to Tacoma. For anymore than 2 days, the room would have been too small to move around in for the 3 of us. Also I had requested to have a non-smoking room, and Iżm still not convinced that is what we got. However, the staff, when calling to upgrade, check-in and check-out, were great! In fact we originally booked for 2 nights, our plans changed and even though we were past the check-out time by a couple hours the manager approved "no additional charges for the "late" check-out. For 2 people the room would be adequate.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[6]

  • Price.
  • Public areas smelled of smoke. There were signs that smoking was not allowed within 25 feet of building but a but can was just outside of the office.

“Rooms smelled of smoke. I think that the maid smokes while washing bedding. Not bad for the price, but not worth much more. Rooms are not soundproofed; we could hear everything going on in the next room.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[5] • Location:[2]

  • Nothing liked. Left after 1 night.
  • Bedding was blood spattered.

“Outward appearance was not bad. Inside was dirty. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Visible security and signs in the parking lot told the area to be unsafe. We booked for 2 nights, stayed 1. NEVER will I go to a #1 rating in accommodations. Quite disappointed.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[3]

  • The staff was friendlier than any hotel staff I've encountered anywhere.
  • Hardest hotel bed I have ever slept on. Like boards.

“Very clean with extremely friendly staff. Situated near freeway on and off ramps. As it is in South Tacoma it is not in a location that is ideal for Tacoma visitors planning to see the main Tacoma attractions. It is not a good location for travelers who do not have a car. The bed was extremely hard. Small kitchenette type set up makes it ideal for the long term and budget traveler. There is another hotel's restaurant across the street, other dining options a short drive away.”

  • That I had to stay one night.

“It was inconvenient to get to my room. it was dirty outside of the room. curtains were shabby. coffee maker, but no coffee. no shampoo. very small room. full size bed (not a queen size). mattress very uncomfortable. on and on.....”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Price was good. Location right off freeway. Easy Access.
  • Beds were extremely hard. Pillows were not very full.

“A fair hotel right off the freeway. Easy access of and on I-5. The downside of this is that the beds were hard and the pillows were very flat. For the price, it was ok.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[7] • Location:[4]

  • The bathroom was nice. Large and clean.
  • The terribly hard and squeaky bed.

“The night I stayed at this hotel was the worst nights stay I have ever had anywhere! The bed was as hard as a rock and squeaked with the slightest of movements. If the idea of a kitchenette sounds appealing, do not get fooled. You would need to pack a whole bag of kitchen items (i.e. salt and pepper, paper towels, dishwashing soap) just to make it usable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting anything more than what a hotel by the hour would provide.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[3]

  • It was clean.
  • It was small... no room for a roll away bed. Was not convenient for 2 working travelers.

“The outside is deceiving of the inside. Staff was friendly. But for 2 business people traveling together, I would not recommend this hotel. The room was very small one of us slept on the floor because the double bed (not queen) was uncomfortable. There were no egg crate mattresses available. There was a sign on the table that said towels would not be refurbished unless you stayed more than 6 days, or your could bring your own towels to the front desk to trade them in. It was a lot of work to stay at this motel.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Price, full kitchen which included all of the needed utensils (plates, cups, flatware, pots& pans, etc...), and the space!
  • This does not apply; I liked everything!

“This hotel that was like a home away from home! It was very quiet and peaceful, the staff was accommodating & hospitable. Please also refer to the questions above for an addition to this review. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, although I was there to attend a family members funeral.”

  • Very good value.
  • Usually these extended stay places have dishwashers, this one didn't have.

“Located in an area convenient to stores, restaurants, bars, and casinos. This is perfect for the business person on a budget. Cooking in the room was easy and a cheap grocery store is down the street. The wireless internet was free!”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Good price for just an overnight stay, front staff friendly.
  • No iron in room, none available at desk, bed uncomfortable, no fan in bathroom.

“It was okay since we were just staying there for one night, the room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The paint was peeling in the shower, probably because there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bed was bare to the springs, but I didn't expect the Hilton! The front office staff was friendly, but didn't have an iron when I went to ask for one since there wasn't one in the room. Overall, it was very easy to check in and out, and easy to find. Not a terrible experience.”
