• This hotel was easy to locate and yet not on too busy a road.
• It smelled like perfumed cigarette smoke, and the stairwells were filthy.

“I have stayed at several Extended Stay hotel, but this one was a real disappointment. When we arrived, we noticed that the whole hotel smelled of covered up cigarette smoke. The update that it must have received in recent years poorly masked underlying problems such as old punch card style keys, peeling paint on bathroom doors, loose plumbing fixtures, etc. We also had to change rooms due to a faulty air conditioner. A very big disappointment for a mother, daughter trip to prepare for the daughter's wedding.”

• Allowed smoking in the room.
• Rock hard bed, and bathroom.

“Tub was very slow draining. Hot and cold water lines reversed in the tub without any warning. No shampoo, conditioner, etc. Sleeping on the ground would have been softer. Bed was rock hard.”

  over 6 night stay.

“Perfect for long-term stays. If you have messy kids you may want to get a room that has maid service! Cute kitchen, clean room when you get there!

• The room is quite spacious with a loaded kitchenette.
• It takes a little meandering to get to the hotel the first time.

“My husband asked for a 3rd floor room with a view of the mountain. The view included I-84 gushing non-stop parallel to our window. Surprisingly the sound-proof was so good that we could hardly hear the noise of the traffic.”

• Kitchenette is convenient, though expected better maintenance from extended stay.
• Property is not well maintained, room was old needs to be updated and clean sheets.

“Sheets were yellowed and did not look clean, room and bathroom needs to be updated. Carpets had stains. I have stayed at better Motel 8's than this property.”

• Nice kitchenette.
• The air conditioner in the hallway was on too strong! And it was day and night, also no hair dryer, and no shampoo or extra soap?

“Pretty good for the price and staff was great and friendly and very helpful. Comfortable beds, had a great night sleep, hotel was close to the highway, so traffic was a bit loud, but eventually I got through it. Overall, I would recommend it to others and come back myself.”

• It was convenient for the trip from airport to desired location.
• Hallways could have been cleaner.

• Friendly front desk. Clean grounds. Quiet, though near freeway. Freeway access was good to consider also though.
• Seemed like new carpet and furniture, walls and window coverings need to be redone.

• The well equipped kitchenette was a delight.
• No pool or exercise facility.

“Much higher quality than many "by the week" hotels. Clean and quiet facility, friendly staff, good location. I will do business here again on my next trip to the Portland area.”

• The kitchen/refrigerator.
• No shampoo or hair dryer.

“The hotel was very clean, though the bed was a bit firm and there were no extra blankets. I liked the kitchenette and refrigerator so I didn't have to buy food out or use vending machines for a cold drink. I wish I had known they didn't have shampoo or a hair dryer so I could have packed accordingly. Overall, a very nice stay.”

• Location (highway noise).

“Extended Stay hotels are dependable and consistent, but this one has a worse location than most (off the beaten path and alongside an expressway).”

• Clean, conveniently located, comfortable, nicely stocked kitchen.
• No hair dryer in room.

“We stayed at this motel for one night. It was clean, comfortable and easy to find. We did have to ask for coffee for the in-room coffee pot and it was provided. It would be nice to have a hair dryer in the room and I missed the little bottles of shampoo, lotion and conditioner that come at some motels, but all in all, it was very nice and I would consider staying there again.”

• It had a bed.
• They were slow to fix maintenance problems. No Playpens, some of our towels were dirty.

“By no means would I stay here again. They had no playpens for my children, our towels were dirty. It took them almost a full day to fix our broken toilet. When they did fix it, we got a nasty letter from the maintenance guy saying we just didn't know how to flush it.”

• Clean, quiet and accessible.
• No maintenance service, stopped up toilet, had to plunge it myself.

“This hotel appears to be right off the freeway, but actually, once off the freeway you have to find it on your own, there's no signage to lead you in, but it's not to hard to find. I found the staff (one front desk person) very friendly and helpful. There was no maintenance person on premise during my stay and I had to plunge the toilet myself. I don't believe there were any amenities like a gym, pool, or game room, and internet connection cost $5. The room kitchen was utilitarian, good for eggs, toast and coffee with a microwave for frozen dinners, snacks, etc. There is no daily room cleaning, you're on your own here. Location of hotel is very good with nearby restaurants, theaters and shopping, all within easy walking or driving distance. The hotel also has easy freeway access to Portland, Mt. Hood and the Columbia River. If you want a nice hotel to home base out of, for work or pleasure, this is the place. It's perfect for that purpose.”

• Good TV channel selection, everything worked.
• No complaints this time.

“This location delivers nice consistency with other ESAs. It's basic but well-tended, and especially good if you're a low-impact single traveler like me who doesn't smoke, has no pets and doesn't cook in the room.”

• Full kitchen, in-room WiFi and laundry facilities are good.
• Bedding is sub-par. Cheap pillows are very uncomfortable. Blanket had large rips.

“Full kitchen, in-room WiFi and laundry facilities are good. Pets are warmly welcomed. Super friendly staff, very responsive to all the little needs that really make or break guest impression, i.e. laundry change, dish soap, public transit options. Neat as a pin, inside and out; housekeeping could be more attentive since they only visit once a week. Cheap bedding is a bit of a downer.”

“My window would not shut. I reported it in the morning and told them I would be gone all day. When I returned at night the window was still not fixed. Which made for 2 cold nights in the room? I was Not happy!”
