• bathroom too small

• Right by the beach.
• Room next door had a party for very loud 12 year olds!

• Lots of free, convenient parking.
• Room cost was high compared to amenities.

“The hotel has a great location on the beach and is easy to get to, and has abundant, convenient free parking. The rooms are standard - everything you need but not much more. They have a outdoor pool & Jacuzzi in the center of the building, but not very inviting - no bar or poolside snack/restaurants, nothing like a beachside resort. Room was clean & functional, very quiet.”

• Incredible ocean views.
• No internet in room, no continental breakfast.

“The hotel was clean, the grounds were well kept, and adequate parking was available. Lots of little shops to visit nearby. Ocean views, but the beach area was too wet to walk. No breakfast served although other best western usually do serve or have available something. There was an upscale restaurant on premises for dining.”

• Location directly on the beach, pretty scenery.
• First room was to be non-smoking, smelled of smoke. Were given another non-smoking room.

“Nice one-night stay for our family of 4. We were close to SFO yet had a nice ocean-front hotel to relax in before flying out of San Francisco the next morning.”

• The location was fantastic!
• We left an item in the hotel room after check out. The Hotel staff wouldn't allow us to reclaim it. That was weird. I didn't have time to push it.

“Over all we really enjoyed our stay. It was just too bad that the staff wasn't helpful in allowing us to reclaim the item we left in our room after check out.”

• Nothing.

“The room was very nice with a view of the ocean. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was much better than I expected. Pacifica is a relaxing town with several beaches and all the services.”

• The location, right by the water.
• Was noisy, could hear people next to us arguing and right outside our sliding door, they wee hammering.

“It was nice, as I have stayed here before; I was hoping to have a better view though and less noise.”

• The staff was very good.
• If you do not know where the hotel is, you will have trouble finding it.

“Overall, a very good experience. They failed to restock the room with amenities, as we had stayed there for 3 nights. But that is a small thing really. Very good place to stay. I would stay there again.”

• Loved the sound of the ocean outside our room.
• Not as clean as I would have liked, the staff was very unfriendly.

“My new husband and I arrived to the hotel and were met by the hotel staff person who was almost put out that we were there and he had to help us. Our room was okay. But for a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed. The room did not appear to be as clean as it should have been. It was not very comfortable. I doubt I would ever stay there again.”

• The ocean view was great; the room was very comfortable.
• TV didn't have closed caption so I could not watch anything on TV.

“The hotel was very clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly too. The room had complementary bottled water & coffee-a very nice pleasant surprise. The floor length windows made the ocean view easy to see and very soothing to watch. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Very friendly staff, great restaurant, and excellant location.

“A well-run and reasonably priced hohtel right on the water in Pacifica, Best Western Lighthouse is the perfect choice for visitors to Pacifica. And they are pet friendly, too! Ristorante Portofino is excellent, with wonderful service, and room service is available. We stayed over Christmas and the staff coulnd't have been more friendly and welcoming. Our stay was delightful!”

• The endless view of the water, romantic atmosphere, fast and friendly hotel restaurant staff, clean room, great house keeping.
• Room was only partial ocean view, small balcony, no sitting on balcony.
