• The real comforter on the bed and nice paint and furniture.
• It was hard to find it.

“This little place gets a bad rap. Best is its location - you are literally minutes from the Golden Gate bridge. And it is cute - of the places we stayed in the 10-day trip we took (8 places) I give it the highest ratings for furnishings and design. It is an older building - looks to me like the owners have put much effort into it and I was pleased with my stay. Meticulously clean, which I liked. Great value for the price!”

• I did not.
• It was smoke filled, dirty and I ended up reversing the charge on my card. Which they happily did. I did not stay there.

“Not good. Very dirty and worn. Burn holes in the furniture. Bad paint, smoke filled. Not refurbished at all. Very old. Yuck. Didn't stay the night. Checked out two hours after I got there. I couldn't breathe because of the smoke.”

• Great shower.
• Noise.

“The value seems good until you realize that the hotel is right on Highway 101!! All rooms face the highway so there is no getting around the fact that you will really feel well traveled after a night here. For the price I would have preferred a Motel 6 which might have offered a less noisy atmosphere. Ground floor meant I got to listen to the other visitors come and go.”

• The description on your web site was very misleading.
• Everything but the shower.

“The facility was terrible. TP holder hanging from the wall. Carpet coming up from the floor. TV reception terrible. Pillows were at least 20 years old.”

• Cleanliness, noise, no microwave, no easy telephone access.

“This hotel should be taken off the list of recommend hotel. Cob webs were hanging off the ceiling. smelled liked smoke, linens were washed but needed to be replaced, no microwave, also the phone in room was not even the property of the hotel. the hotel was used for long termed stay with some scary looking people. Sink was dirty, lighting was poor. no sense of security with car or the room. The picture on the Internet is a lie, does nothing to describe the place and how nasty it was. My money was wasted on this hotel and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone! maybe it would be in your benefit to have someone check the hotels out! Do you need to hire someone to do this! I would be a good employee for this! Maybe a good PR for you!!”
