  • Quick check in and helpful staff and full kitchen.
  • No pool, hot tub, breakfast, gym, and had to pay for internet.

“It's close to the freeway and the full kitchen is nice but be warned, it is not family friendly and has no pool or hot tub, no breakfast, no gym and you have to pay for internet.”

  • Very friendly.
  • Small, uncomfortable bed, tiny bathroom, loud heating unit.

“The staff is very friendly and helpful, but you get what you pay for when it comes to the room. It's relatively clean, but not the most comfortable place you can stay.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Nothing.
  • Bed was extremely hard, unclean room.

“Unless you like sleeping on concrete and don't mind the hum from the refrigerator or the smell of your neighbors curry stay away.”

  • The price.
  • The stairwells reeked of cigarette smoke.

“I have stayed with this hotel chain before and this particular location was sub par by every measure compared to our previous experience. The bed was hard and undersized. In general the furnishings and decor were not up to date. The room itself was clean and the lobby was attractive. However, the hallways and stairwells absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke (despite the fact that we were in a non-smoking area of the building). Within a few hours of arriving this had given me a terrible headache. The main benefit of extended stay is that each room has a kitchenette. Unfortunately, the kitchen accoutrements were sparse. I will avoid this location in the future.”

  • It was clean, comfortable and in a great location.
  • Typical amenities (i.e. shampoo, room service, etc.) don't exist here.

“This Extended Stay America was in much better shape than a previous one I had stayed at Cincinnati a month ago. The room was up to date, comfortable and nice. The location is great, you're about three miles from the Oregon border and 10 or so from Portland. The staff was friendly, including one who seemed to be concerned about explaining the differences between Extended Stay America's and typical hotels (they're set up for long-term stays and are more like studios, but you don't get the amenities one would typically expect from a hotel). Overall, this is a nice place for the budget minded traveler or the business person needing a place to stay while in town.”

  • The view.
  • Hard to find, roads are weird.

“It was convenient to were we needed to be. It was nice on the river! Enjoyed it!”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • The kitchen.
  • It had a weird smell but, it was clean.

“The room worked out fine, it was just a couple of hours, it suited my needs.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • We loved having the kitchenette with our small children.
  • There was a big burn mark/tear on the chair in our room.

“We would recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again!”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[6]

  • The location was acceptable, since I had a car.
  • Uncaring staff, poor bed, no shampoo, charged for internet.

“The hotel is too expensive for the level of service and comforts. It is not very clean (foreign hair in bathroom). The bed was thin, hard and creaked when sat upon. No shampoo in room - you can buy it from a vending machine. They also nickel-and-dime you for Internet access. There is no lobby to speak of. A drainage ditch runs down the center of the parking lot.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[5]

  • Very helpful and friendly staff. Great with directions.
  • Location not easy to find, had to call for directions.

“Nice room with cooking facilities. Once we called for directions, we found it with not a lot of trouble. Be sure to take dish soap. Bed was very comfortable, lazy boy recliner was too. Price was very reasonable.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Well run, well located.
  • Neighboring motels were a bit shabby.

“This is probably the Portland area, Extended Stay Americas. It's right off the I-205 Mill Plain Rd. exit. Quality seems consistent with the rest of the chain. I think it's slightly more convenient to inner Portland than the Gresham ESA and much better on location than Hillsboro.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • The reception staff was great; my room was very clean, and the recliner was a huge plus.
  • No continental breakfast or goodies at front desk.

“I had a great stay. Unlike some, my room was very clean, water pressure was fine, bed was comfortable, and I didn't care that the TV was small (25 inches?). I didn't need the kitchen area (although it was also clean), but that's not their fault.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Location, desk service and staff.
  • Cleanliness, no frills.

“We didn't realize that there were no frills, but that was again okay because of our cost.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Big room with kitchen.
  • Internet much slower than dialup.

“Pros: big quiet room with kitchen. Well maintained bathroom. Minor cons: Double bed comfortable but bigger memory foam bed would be more comfortable. Bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. Internet slower than dialup. Summary: I liked it.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • Easy to find. Had potential.
  • Blood stain on the carpet. Not very clean in general.

“I would prefer not to stay in an Extended Stay America because I have had unclean dishes, bed not clean between guests-yuk! In other ESA hotels besides this one!”
