“This hotel had it all. Good location for access to wine country, friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained. Did not try the restaurant but the menu looked appealing.”

“I would not rate this as a 4 star hotel, but it is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would have liked the hotel's rewards amenities (afternoon snacks, continental breakfast) to be available on weekends and Monday.”

“Easy to find from the 101 Highway. This hotel had a upscale but cozy feel. I would look foward to staying there again.”

“This was a great hotel, staff, location, really everything. The first night I was there (Friday) they did free wine tasting from a couple local wineries I thought that was nice touch. The food was outstanding and all the staff where helpful and friendly. I'd stay again for sure.”

“The Sheraton Petaluma is in a beautiful location on the marina of the Petaluma River. Close to great restaurants and convenient to the freeway for easy access to San Francisco or the wine country. Friendly and personable staff - beautifully decorated rooms. Dog friendly which is great if you love dogs. I don't - at least not in a hotel.”

“I have no problem with this property as it met my expectations and is a lovely property, with a friendly, helpful staff. The room was above average and I had a comfortable restful night. Otherwise, I would recommend it for the business or leisure traveler.”

“The hotel was great. It was easy to get to, clean, attractive, with large rooms. The staff was friendly. The pool and spa were nice. We were going back and forth to the Healdsburg area, though, and that's quite a drive when traffic is heavy, which it seems to be much of the time through Santa Rosa.”

“It was unknown to me that this was a non-smoking hotel. Since I am a smoker I felt this was incontinent for me. I would have liked to know a head of time, then I would have the option of nitpicking this hotel.”

“I have never been to a hotel that charges in its business center. I needed to print out my boarding pass and I had to pay to get on their computer, even though I had already paid for Wi-Fi in my room. Then the printer didn't work! The desk person printed it out, but it left a bad feeling for me. Also, the hotel didn't provide a "map" of the hotel, or tell the offerings there, even though there was a wonderful walk around the marina, and a natural preserve for wildlife next door. Shame on Sheraton for that! Other than that, the hotel was wonderful, comfortable, easy to get to and friendly service.”

“The Sheraton Petaluma is a good hotel to base yourself for a Wine Country excursion. The little - mentioned town of Petaluma has numerous wonderful restaurants and antique shops and is worth a visit in itself. The location on the Petaluma River with access to parks and wetlands allows for quiet walks after a day of hectic wine tasting. But the Sheraton Petaluma is also a surprisingly good hotel for the business traveler. Internet access is seamless; and the location on highway 101 makes it a convenient base for work in Napa, Sonoma, or Marin counties.”

“Its a very nice hotel. No complaints except I wish it had free high speed internet like so many other hotels do nowadays. Todays (the hotel restaurant) was fabulous!”
