• Loved the location!
• Room was a bit musty smelling.

“All in all I had a very nice stay,,, great location,, nice clean and comfy room,, and friendly staff. Would definitely come there again.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Our hotel door didn't close all the way and the neighbors were very noisy.

“A good hotel if you plan to make it a place to sleep or just a home base sort of thing. Not elegant or high class at all, but it is economical and very centrally located to downtown shopping, clubs, bars and restaurants.”

• Friendly staff, great location, a bit funky in a good way.
• Room was a little small.

“This hotel is great for the price, no complaints and easy to walk to many of the shops and bars. It was clean and the staff was friendly.”

• Nothing.
• It wasn't clean and one of the staff was very rude.

“My friends and I stayed here for one night because we thought it was a good price with a convenient location. We all regret it. The room wasn't clean. Our sheets were stained. There was hair in the shower. When I went to complain the staff person was very rude and accused me of trying to get more sheets so I could room an extra person. I will never stay here again!”

• Privacy.
• It felt cheep and dirty.

• Good location for nightlife. Clean and functional room.
• Somewhat dumpy appearance from the outside. Pool is permanently closed.

“Turns out this part of Burnside has improved greatly and eclectic clubs are popping up all around. The area isn't dodgy at all anymore. Right across the street is the Jupiter hotel where you can have a great time to top the night, then leave the crowd for a sound sleep. You'll find no luxury at this hotel, but it's not slummy either. The room was comfy, clean and quiet despite the activity all around. We'd stay there again. (hint, ask for a room in the back - upper level).”

• The location was perfect for my needs. Downtown, the Pearl was within walking distance. The staff was terrific.
• The hotel has definitely seen some use. Rooms had some wear and tear.

“This hotel was perfect for my needs. Although it has seen some use, the location was great. I could walk to the Pearl district and Downtown. For anyone wanting a hotel that is cheap with a friendly staff, this is the place. It's a great starting point for introducing yourself to Portland.”

• The hotel was clean and in a good location to get around the city.
• The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

“The hotel was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. There was no continental breakfast and it was a little noisy. But it wasn't a bad place to stay with a bunch of teenagers.”

• The bathrooms need upgrading.

“The location for us was convenient, and the room was fine for the price. It seemed clean, and was not as noisy as I thought it would be on a busy main street. There were a few amenities with the room. Overall, it was a good enough place to stop over for a night.”
