“Good value for price. Convenient location, friendly staff. Skip the hotel restaurants and go one of many in walking distance.”

“If you are looking for a comfortable bed and a room that offers heat and air conditioning for you to choose from do not stay at this hotel. The bed was so uncomfortable and it was so unbearably hot that we were miserable! They did move us to another room the next night but it wasn't much better. They do not offer heat and air at the same time, it's not possible they say. Location and the above make this a no go for me, sorry. I will stay elsewhere the next time.”

“Mold in the tub caulking and wireless had low to no connectivity. No microwave in room but it did have coffee maker and small refrigerator. We also had to pay a $10 parking fee to park in the hotel lot.”

“The bed was so comfortable it over shadowed some of the slightly less desirable amenities.”

“This is the second time I have stayed at this property within the last year. It's still the same run-down hotel as it was last year, except the bathroom has new tile. The central air is still hotel controlled, which means you are at the grace of the staff to determine if heat or cool air is needed. They will send up a fan if needed, but that is so tacky. My friends staying at the Quality Inn nearby had air conditioning and they paid as much as I did! Also, the television receptions still hasn't been fixed, so guests can not watch any local stations because of interference.”

“This hotel is located in an excellent section of Portland right by the MAX for riding into downtown and for free, too! It is near the Lloyd Center for excellent shopping. First rate!”

“Stayed here a few times before, always satisfied. I also love the top floor dining room/lounge ans had invited others to meet us there at 6PM. Unfortunately it was closed for a private meeting all night.”

“Room had a door lock that didn't work properly and allot of remolding going on the same floor. The defective door lock was previously reported by a previous customer but not fixed. I was in the room for two days before I discovered the problem.

“The hotel is a great location - easy access to the city and airport. Also there are great places to eat in N.E. Portland and N.W. Portland, where the hotel is located.”

“I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and clean the hotel room was. My only big complaint was that I could hear housekeeping knocking on other doors in the morning and also their vacuuming.”

“This is an older Red Lion (and only modestly maintained). You had to pay for parking, which for where it was located should not have been! There was no room AC - I had a big audition coming up the next day, and was not comfortable because I needed it like an ice box in there for my comfort and could not get it that way. All the front desk could do was offer a small fan to blow on me - trust me if I would have known that that was going to be the case I definitely would have not stayed there. There breakfast was okay, but a lot of it looked like cafeteria food even though it was a restaurant, sit down style, kind of restaurant, my breakfast - even though I ordered it, came out like it had been sitting for a long time my guess would be 30 - 90 minutes. I will not stay there again.”
