• Excellent location.
• Bathroom area was a little smaller than I'd like.

“Room was way more than expected. I was put on the quiet floor which I hadn't requested but very much appreciated when Saturday night I returned to the hotel with a lobby full of high schoolers”

• Top end quality furniture and the bed was very nice.
• Housekeeping at 8am.

“We did not place the privacy hanger on the outside of the door because we only stayed one night and planned on being up around 9am. At 8 am we were woke by housekeeping knocking, frantic I ran from bed to close door and tell her no. Partially we are at fault for not placing sign, and we were first door from elevator. Regardless with a high end hotel one would think 8 am is early for knocking on a door for someone checking out at 11.”

“I love the beach cruiser bikes they have to borrow to ride around - and the personal feel from the front desk people etc etc - I really really loved being there.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• In the mornings I'm use to receiving the morning paper and the hotel does not provide it.

“The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable, transportation to bus and train convenient and we took advantage of the hotel shuttle. That was wonderful, great staff.”

• Concierge and courtesy van drivers.
• Room was a little small, as was bathroom.

“Hotel had upscale amenities in room; luxurious bedding, flat screen TV, small refer and microwave. We were on the quiet floor which meant no families with children. We plan on returning to Portland in November for our anniversary and hope to stay at the Crowne again.”

• Very friendly, convenient, helpful and very nice.

“The hotel was very modernized. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, nice big flat screen TV, separate sitting area with couch, desk and nice glass table. They accommodated my every need and did it with a smile. The pool area and jacuzzi is very nice, though you do have to walk through the lobby to get there. The hotel bed was heavenly. Overall, it was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again.”

• Got a great price on a very clean and safe room.
• Windows are very thin and you can hear the freeway quite easily.

“Hotel experience was great only disappointment we had is that when we decided to extend our stay on a Sunday night for the same price it was not accommodated despite room availability. Not really a big deal.”

• The staff, the service, the total package, the true hospitality.

“We arrive exhausted from a difficult journey. The staff immediately found a way to accommodate our need. Put us on a quiet floor so we could sleep during the day, and provided true hospitality at every turn. The room was clean, the surroundings pleasant, the beds wonderful, the restaurant gracious and well managed and the orange juice fabulous. The food was tasty, attractive and reasonably. The concierge and shuttle service the best we've experienced in years of travel. We will come back and we will recommend your hotel over and over again.”

• The front desk staff was really kind.
• Parking is $10/night charged separately, which is cheesy for its just outside of downtown proper location.

“This is a great value. Free wireless net was also nice and had a no hassle connection.”

• Close to light rail, Convention center, Rose center.
• $10 a night to park.

“Clean, nice, friendly, helpful. I'm low maintenance and don't require or desire many of the services offered at this hotel.”

“We had continued problems with our door lock. I had to have 6 different keys. At one point I had to go to the front desk to get into my room. The phone didn't work. The receiver didn't work at all. None of their lines connected you to room service, wake up call, etc. You had to call the front desk. The shower water was barely warm. The front desk staff was not friendly.”
