  • The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful.
  • The pay-per-view movies were expensive!

“The hotel is a Hilton, so of course the rooms are expected to be a little bit "standard". If you're looking for a unique hotel or B&B experience, this isn't the place for you. However, for a standard hotel experience, this place is a very nice one! The rooms (esp. the beds) are comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice (I particularly liked the sliding door). The staff was very helpful, the concierge directed us to a nearby restaurant for dinner.”

“I was disappointed in the room - expected a nicer room. The parking was convenient, but getting to the hotel was confusing and not very convenient.”

“Comfortable, clean and quiet. Convenient location in downtown Portland. We were irritated that a hotel of this stature charges for internet access. Otherwise a great stay.”

  • Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Very clean and comfortable.
  • No hot tub or steam room. Didn't like having to pay extra for internet access.

“My stay at the Hilton was fantastic! Excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. If there was a problem it was fixed quickly. If there was a question I had that they didn't know they quickly did the research to find out. Bartender and wait staff was also friendly and eager to make sure I enjoyed Portland.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Incredible concierge very luxurious bedding.
  • Not allot of dining choices really close by.

“The Hilton is beautiful. The lobby is what you would expect in an upscale Downtown high-rise hotel they have a nice workout center. Starbucks is right across the street it took me less than five minutes to get from my room to Starbucks. The negatives the rooms are a little tight, the beds are a little soft and the elevators move so fast they made me nauseous.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The bed and bedding was wonderfully comfortable and soft, sheets. Beautiful colors in the decor too.
  • The room was a handicap room so the shower was really strange and there was no bath tub.

“I thought it was an excellent hotel and the room was very comfortable and a wonderful view of the city too.”

  • It was clean and well-located with all the amenities I expect in a 3 star hotel.
  • Long check in lines; not enough front desk personnel at peak times.

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Very quiet room, comfy beds, great staff, nice bathrooms.
  • Valet parking is $25.00 per day. Lots of construction downtown.

“This is the second time we have stayed at the Hilton. We stayed in the main building. The rooms are not big, but are nicely appointed with double-sheeted comforters. The bathrooms are recently and nicely renovated with nice showers but very little counter space and no extra area to get ready in. I was traveling with my daughter and my sister, and we had all forgotten toiletries. The front desk immediately sent up a huge bag with extra Crabtree and Evelyn shampoos, soaps, and conditioners. Any request was addressed immediately. Room service was fast. My only minor complaint was that my duvet cover had a few hairs on it, presumably from the person who made up the bed. Overall, it was a very good stay for the money.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • Squarely downtown.
  • Expensive parking, shabby room, TINY bathroom.

“It is well located within walking distance of anything downtown. Use the parking garage across the street behind the Nike store for parking and you can pay $8 instead of $18. The Hilton doesn't really have anything to offer kids, half of the elevators were inoperable due to construction, and the bathroom was laughably small.”
