• Large bathroom, 2 shower heads, comfortable room, windows opened.
• Bed was a bit saggy.

• Very nice hotel, excellent location, beautiful decor in the rooms, great big rooms and bathrooms, very handy coffeemaker.

“Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Great location in Downtown Portland; everything is right at your fingertips. Nice rooms with wonderful Westin Heavenly beds, beautiful room decor. Pretty big rooms and bathrooms with large separate shower and bathtub.”

• Helpful and friendly staff.
• Overnight parking was minimum $20 and with valet $30 per night.

“The parking garage was over a block away unless you used the valet and the valet was $30/night.”

• Concierge was very professional and friendly directing us about the city, especially with dining choices. All staff friendly and helpful.
• Room poorly situated-no view; noisy ventilation fan below window. Room had an adjoining door that let a lot of noise through from next room.

“The Westin Portland is in a great location-close to many restaurants and shops Downtown. Using the hotel as a starting point, we walked all over NW and SW Portland. The room was well appointed, and the cleaning staff respected our wish not to be disturbed. One complaint-an adjoining door, although locked at all times, let unwanted noise into our room from the next room almost every night.”

• Wonderful comfortable bed.
• Doormen standing around not paying attention.

• They set out candles and chocolate at 5:00 p.m. to help guests transition and calm down after a hectic day.
• Can't think of anything I didn't like.

• The heavenly bed!
• The parking.

“I would definitely stay there again. It was within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in.”

• The hotel is in a good location.
• $29 parking in Portland? Ridiculous.

“The hotel is nice and in a good location. We felt that this was at best a 3 star hotel, which is nice, but not 4 star. Staff was friendly but valets were not helpful and stood around the door talking to each other. Staff was good in dealing with a drunk guest, the first night we were there. It looked like part of the hotel was remodeled but we were put in old rooms I guess. Oh, charging $29 to park a car is an insult.”

• Nice bathroom with one of the best showers I've ever had in a hotel.
• The cost of parking a rental car was very pricey.

“I thought it was a nice Hotel. The room was comfortable. Room service was speedy but timely and the food was good but a bit cold by the time it got to the room. Otherwise, I am glad I stayed there.”

• Doors close loudly, "handmade cokes" in room must be chips ahoy.

“My husband and I stayed overnight to see a concert downtown. The hotel's location was convenient; keep in mind that street parking is only 90 minutes so you pretty much don't have a choice by to pay for their $29 per-day valet service. The room was clean, the bed comfortable (which is paramount for us), and although our afternoon nap was disturbed by slamming doors and loud people in the hall, it was an overall pleasant stay. I'd even stay there again.”

“This hotel is very convenient to Downtown restaurants, the Pearl District and the trolleys. Clean, spacious, quiet, updated rooms. Light rail from airport takes you within a block of the hotel. No car needed for Downtown activities. We would definitely stay there again.”

“The staff was outstanding, extremely nice and helpful. Location excellent, everything downtown is walk able. Our room was a king w/no view, looked onto a rooftop and wall of building, but bed was comfortable and bathroom very nice.”

• Parking not included and expensive (valet only). No free Wi-Fi. No double beds available during check in.

“Great location in Downtown Portland. Very attractive exterior and lobby. Room decor was good and showers and beds were excellent. Included Starbucks coffee was very welcome and tasty. Minuses were expensive valet-only parking and no free Wi-Fi. Could not get double beds but comfortable roll-away bed was free.”
