• Good maid and room service.
• Room decor, price and uncomfortable bed.

“This hotel is okay for someone with a boat and if you have your own vehicle. Not good for those using public transportation. Rooms are not updated.”

• Easy freeway access, secure free parking.
• Nothing.

• It is a nice place and host, hostess and housekeeping were nice.
• It is not safe to walk to the light rail but going to the airport is fine.

“It is nice and clean but needs to solve problems with the Metro rail. For me I do not like walking across the road to the rail.”

• Quiet, very comfortable mattress!
• No way to play a DVD.

“Loved this hotel! It was quiet, clean, spacious, and conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I dread staying in hotels because of the terrible mattresses, but this mattress was fantastic! I would love to know what it was!”

• The hotel looked new and was clean and comfortable and had a balcony on the river!
• Thought the check-in person was a bit snooty.

• Hard to find first time.

• It was convenient to where I was going.
• The pool was out of commission and the breakfast was not included in the room fee.

“Rooms were clean, it was a little upsetting that the pool was not available due to some sort of repairs, also the breakfast was not included in the room fee and was a little expensive.”

• Our view of the Columbia River was great.
• Heater didn't work properly; room cold and light was out in bathroom.

“The location is great. We had to make two telephone calls before the heater and light was fixed. Room was cold and heater never did work properly.”

• Cheerful staff, new building.
• Awkward local access, despite being near Interstate highway.

“New, clean facility with nice breakfast service and covered underground parking. Rooms were airy and large; view of river is good. This hotel is located in an industrial area, but very near a fascinating marina. Staff was great. Tricky to find at night. We would stay there again and do recommend it.”

• Staff was wonderful! I had a sick child and they went above and beyond. The front desk guy even delivered antacids to my room.
• I have no complaints for a 2.5 hotel.

“Staff was wonderful and friendly from front desk to housekeeping. We came into town for dance convention and ended up with sick child. I disinfected the room with my own purchased cleaners to hopefully keep staff and future guests from getting sick but when my daughter actually got sick on the bedding. There was not much I could do. The staff did not make us feel remotely bad about it and handled the situation promptly and professionally and even called back later to make sure we had everything we needed. They were fabulous. If you don't know Portland, it might be a little confusing to find the hotel but you can see if from i5 so you are going to find it eventually. I actually am semi familiar with the area and found it fine. When traffic is heavy it takes awhile to get back onto i5 but as long as you give yourself time, it isnt' the worse traffic situation and is well managed with traffic signals.”

• A+ service from hotel staff. Outstanding.
• Dont recall seeing a lounge, probably had one but I didnt see it.

“Overall positive experience. Hotel staff extremely helpful, friendly, professional. Brought menus to our room to help us decide on local restaurants. Underground parking is nice in rainy weather but drive up to lobby is a bit odd. Elevated, steep drive up.”

• Very attractive hotel. Staff was wonderful and efficient.
• The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The pull out was better.

“The hotel is very clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful and quick to help when asked. The room was very lovely and set up nicely. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The pull out couch was good though.”

• Had to change rooms, first room had toilet that didn't work, lights bulbs out.

“We enjoyed the stay. The room we were reassigned to was excellent. Of course, the weather was nice, so that view was even better.”

• The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, the bed linens were luxurious and rooms very clean.
• The lack of complimentary continental breakfast and/or microwave in the room.

“This hotel offered attractive rooms, a convenient location (especially to the airport), and an excellent, attentive staff. We would certainly stay here again!”

• Staff manager was extremely accommodating, which made the stay acceptable.
• Located in industrial area with prostitution and drugs nearby. Hotel room had little space and toiletries unacceptable.

“If not for the staff, we would have been extremely upset for paying that price for what we considered to be a lower-end hotel (certainly not close to the Red Lion where we stayed in Bend).”
