• The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice.
• The rooms were small and the walls were thin.

“This was a very nice hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with how thin the walls were, you could here the neighbors. The rooms are very nice and clean, but very small. Overall, we had a great time. We would go back.”

“We were warmly greeted by staff, very customer oriented and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom a bit small. The bed was the best I've slept in.”

“Our original room was super tiny, just a little bit bigger than our queen sized bed, a view of an alley, and a minimalist bathroom. Our sink drain would not open so they upgraded us to another room with a king sized bed and a roomy bath. We hadn't pushed for a new room, so it was nice that they just made it happen. Both rooms had plush towels and comfortable beds. Everything looked very clean. Everything on TV cost money except a few silly music videos, but we had a good chuckle at those, and spent most of our time about town anyway. We probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel except for the deal we got, and we probably won't try for it again, but it was nice.”

• It was unique and glamourous!
• No pool.

“Exceeded my expectations!!! A vibrant, goodlooking staff in a unique, elegant,classy, clean hotel..Yes, my room was small, and I had no view, but I will definitely be back!!!”

• Helpful and friendly staff.
• The price of room snacks and mini bar were very expensive.

“An upscale hotel with an experienced and friendly staff. The queen room was small but comfortable to the point of being plush
very nice. Valet parking ($25 per day) or self parking ($19 per day) is available. Hotel is located a short walk (10 blocks) from downtown. We recommend this hotel.”

• The staff was very helpful, if they didn't know the answer to a question, they took time to find it out.
• Rooms were small, but it is an old historic building.

“Beautiful old fashion hotel with great service. Parking is expensive, but you don't really need a car, public transportation is excellent and close by. The restaurant is good but very expensive, and other restaurants are several blocks away.”

• Hotel employees were very courteous & professional.

“This hotel is a historic hotel filled with pictures of movie stars from years past. The decor is retro reminiscing the old Hollywood and at the same time, provided a very comfortable setting. The hotel staff was wonderful and they treated all their guests with utmost professionalism. Truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again if we ever return to Portland.”

• Staff were willing to help in any way possible.
• Absolutely nothing!

“My wife and I arrived at this hotel with our 6 year old daughter whose birthday the trip was celebrating. I was a tiny bit worried because the hotel was not reviewed very well for the comfort of children. Please put those thoughts to rest! The staff were out of this world making my daughter feel as if the world revolved around her. Very satisfied with this wonderful hotel and staff.”

• Staff was very thoughtful and friendly, anticipating needs and reacting accommodating
• Noisy refrigerator at night and shower spray head would not stay in place in.

“Hotel was clean, and welcoming. Loved the idea of selecting your type pillow. Staff was very helpful with directions to restaurants and taking care of frozen items too big for the room frig. Nice to receive a call asking if we needed anything when we had the quiet on the set sign on the door all day. Nice touch with the Hollywood movie theme throughout the hotel. Love hotels that give you great info and fun visuals.”

• Very clean, centrally located, the employees were friendly, the decor was lovely.
• The walls are thin.

• Very comfy bed, good pillow selection, and
  very friendly staff.
• Rooms were very small, bathroom tiny, lots of steps up to lobby.

“A nice hotel, conveniently located to the Max line and downtown, very friendly staff,with a lovely upscale restaurant. The rooms are small and the bathroom is smaller. Comfortable bed and great selection of pillows.”

• Friendly staff and convenient to light rail, shops & restaurants.

“This is a great boutique hotel. Great find. The price was perfect on Priceline. Definitely not worth the rack rate this hotel offers on their website.
When the request was made during the stay, the hotel asked for an upgrade charge. We passed and opted to share the king bed. It worked out fine for two Laker fans and foodies from So call.”

• The staff was so friendly.
• The room is a little on the small side.

“Overall a very nice hotel. Even though the room is a little small it is very nicely decorated. The marble tile in the bathroom was very cold they need to put a rug in there. All of the staff was very accomodating. Valet even went to my car and got something out of it for me and brought it to me room.”
