• Staff very friendly and very helpful with info about city or directions. Was in walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
• Lobby and eating area very nice, but somewhat small.

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and had a nice continental breakfast. Free parking, free internet, free breakfast and free to do your own wash. Walking distance to many nice restaurants & shops. 10-15 min from downtown, but closer to zoo, Botanical and Rose garden.”

• Pleasant helpful staff, free parking, wireless Internet, big screen TV, clean room, great bed.
• The breakfast was pretty good, but I would have liked more low carb options for my diabetic diet.

• It was clean, close to Nob Hill and free parking.
• You could hear people walking upstairs and the towels were small/rough.

“We really enjoyed the Silver Cloud. You could hear people walking around upstairs and you could tell that some renovations are hiding the age of the hotel. But it was clean, the bed was comfy, the big TVs were awesome and it has FREE parking (a big deal in Portland). If it is in the area you need to be, you can't ask for better than this!”
