• No refridgerator.

“We got a hotel room with the refridgerator removed, the hotel offered to have one brought up to our room and installed, but that is a little late, it would not be cold and it would be a disruption to our relaxation.”

• The rooms are large and very clean.
• Strange noise kept my partner awake.

“The Santa Rosa Courtyard by Marriott was great for our overnight stay. Check-in was quick. All areas of the hotel are spotless. The staff is pleasant and efficient. When my boyfriend complained of a strange, annoying noise a staff person walked with him trying to identify the source. They could not, but the hotel did compliment us breakfast for 2.”

• Location - in old town.

• Nice pool and jacuzzi, friendly staffs.
• Bed and bathroom are too small.

“Good bang for the buck. Excellent location at Downtown Santa Rosa. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The room is comfortable in general. However, should change the air conditioner with the newer one. And the mattress is kind of too firm.”

“I have stayed at this hotel before on a trip north. I was happy when the Marriott came up, as I've never had a bad one and I'm a Rewards member. The desk gave us a nice map of restaurants within walking area.”

• Clean, excellent location close to shops and dining, friendly staff, comfy beds, yummy buffet.
• Parking area in back was not well lit.

“We loved the location, close to everything: shops, restaurants, and excellent coffee shops. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.”

• The restaurant staff was great on service.
• Some of the front desk staff need to be trained by the restaurant staff.

“Convenient walk to the downtown area but that does come with its problems. The morning breakfast is great and the wait personnel are excellent. Unfortunately, this cannot be said of the front desk personnel.”

“I was disappointed at this 2.5 star hotel based on my stay in a 3 star hotel. There was really no comparison. The 3 star felt luxurious and this one felt cheap. I would not recommend it.”

• Clean, nice beds, convenient.
• Freeway ramp closed and it was hard to figure out how to get back on 101.

“It was nice and clean; front staff was low-key, friendly. Bed was comfortable. Easy to get to from freeway, but one ramp was closed and it was hard to figure out where to go to get back on freeway next morning.”

• Very helpful and efficient Front Desk Staff.
• The bed was a bit too firm. Towels were small.

“We found the front desk staff most helpful with driving directions and area maps, restaurant info, etc. After 9 hours of driving, we were pleased to partake of the complimentary wine tasting in the Hotel Lobby, followed by a short walk to the Railroad square area restaurants. In the morning, we enjoyed walking the creek side trail to the Luther Burbank Gardens. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, nature areas, Downtown business, parks, etc. The Lobby is very inviting. We did not have time to enjoy the Pool and Jacuzzi, but it looked clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small, but very clean. The Shower / Tub combo has a great adjustable shower head and was supplied with assorted toiletries. The bed was comfortable, and our room was quiet. Wireless Internet connection was very fast and reliable. Plenty of room to do some work with ample desk space and a nice office chair. In room coffee maker is provided, but we were happy to partake of the excellent coffee and tea available in the lobby area. We enjoyed our short stay at the Courtyard, and hope to return soon.”

• Located right off freeway. Clerk recommended excellent restaurant at Hyatt across street.
• No bedspread on bed.

“We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was clean, but we could have used a bedspread on the bed. The staff was very friendly and provided us with directions when needed and recommended a great restaurant across the street at the Hyatt. We had lunch at the restaurant upon arrival and went back the next morning for a delicious breakfast.”

• Honestly the fact that the hot tub worked was the high-light. This is a basic hotel.
• The hotel staff at the front desk was fine. They were the only staff we saw! I won't be back.

“The hotel had beautiful floors in the lobby. The fireplace didn't work. My family played cards after dinner and wanted to sit by the fire. The rooms were very small.”

• Restaurant has excellent morning buffet with eggs made to order for $9.00 - Great value!
• Only one sink in the room.

“Easy access hotel within walking distance of the Sonoma County visitor's center - this hotel provides a great springboard to the area's attractions - wine tasting, the beach, hiking. The custom omelets station and full buffet for $9.00 are a fast, cost-effective way to get you going in the morning.”

• Cheapest option I could find on short notice on Labor Day weekend.
• It was still more than I ideally wanted to pay.

“It was adequate for our purpose - not somewhere you'd go for a splurge/romantic weekend - but conveniently located to wine country, clean... Adequate.”
