“The core of the building is open to the roof, letting light in to all floors. It is tidy and well kept by the management.”

“Worst experience ever. We were assigned a room located right in front of the air duct and garbage collection place. It was noisy and stinky. The front desk recommended this room as nice view and I personally like this room. I called a manager at midnight because the duct was to noisy to get some sleep. There are Hilton's and a couple other hotels close to this hotel. If you are looking for a nice place, stay away from Crowne Plaza.”

“Very helpful staff in a very nice, clean, and comfortable business hotel. Great place for traveling through, but no need to stay in this location for several days.”

“Odd stay this time. Location, clean, when AC died they replaced entire unit quickly within hours. Gave us key to occupied room. Kicked out kids (not ours) from pool area without adequate reason or warning then proceeded to come into the workout room and try to tell us (just started working out) we had to leave too because it would not be fair to kick out the kids and not us. Clearly ridiculous and I told them this. We were allowed to stay. The AC broke down (see above) and the shower drained very slowly. Also, Internet was $9.95 per day. Overall, for the Priceline bid, it was worth it and we have had good experiences here in the past. However, this was clearly not them on their best day.”

“I was very surprised at the feel of luxury in my room. It was very tastefully decorated and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I loved the granite counters and the spaciousness of my room.”

“The Lake Oswego Crowne Plaza is a convenient stop between Downtown Portland and the Oregon wine country. It has easy access to major freeways and free parking. However, the quality of accommodations falls short of 3.5 stars. There was insufficient sound insulation in the rooms as I was able to hear the room next door open their drapes. The air conditioner was so weak that even at maximum power, the room was close to 80 degrees and noticeably warmer than the hallway outside. That the hotel charges $10/day for WIFI Internet access is a major downside, given that the Hilton across the street offers this service for free.”

“Right off I-5 and easy to get to in a posh neighborhood with lots of places to eat. Handy for the visitor to Portland who doesn't want to stay downtown or for us, visiting our daughter at Lewis and Clark College. The rooms were big and nicely appointed, the beds were terrific, the public spaces were dated and the entrance area was depressing.”

“Room was quiet and in excellent condition. Bed was very comfortable and I very much enjoyed my room stay. Breakfast was included with the room, but I was completely ignored as I stood by the "Please wait to be seated" sign for several minutes. Finally, I found my own table among the many empty ones. When the waitperson asked if I wanted coffee, she brought it in a to go cup, so I had to go hunt my own mug. It would be hard to provide a less welcoming atmosphere. Since the breakfast is buffet style, it's a puzzle why they seem to busy to take care of guests. Food was good though and the paper cup of coffee turned out to be a good thing when all the air pots turned up empty when I tried for a refill.”

“Great lobby, dining area and rooms. Workout room cramped and pool is too small for anything but getting wet. Room service inconsistent but usually good.”

“I
enjoyed the room, but not the service.
I wished that there was something
I could have used to cart in my own bags.”

“Very nice first impression when you walk in. Very clean and a beautiful waterfall inside front lobby. Nice king size beds in room with lots of pillows, however, there were no microwaves or fridges. The rooms were also a bit small. Very clean, and a nice overall atmosphere. Great for honeymooners, business persons, and families! They also have movies for rent in the rooms that were still in the theaters. No free WiFi though.”

“I loved the location; the staff was friendly and helpful. The gift shop was never open to my convenience but it saved me money. I would love to see cleaner bathrooms.”
