“This hotel met our needs for an overnight stay. The location was walking distance to movies and dining. The indoor pool was small. Fortunately we had it to ourselves. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was expensive for the quality provided.”

• Staff was friendly and very helpful, and the hotel was close to the freeway.
• Hotel location is in an odd place tucked behind some buildings in a cul-de-sac.

“Overall, the hotel was good, although it is located in an odd spot (tucked behind some other buildings on a cul-de-sac. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool and spa were great. I think it is probably perfect for business, but was also suitable for family travelers as well. I traveled with three smaller children and we did see other children there as well.”

• The staff at the Marriott was exceptional and the breakfast buffet was not only delicious but a fantastic bargain.
• The street to the hotel was not very well marked so we passed it several times.

“The Courtyard Marriott has some amazing amenities! We took advantage of the breakfast buffet both mornings and it was the perfect way to start our day. The service provided by the restaurant staff was exceptional and they really made us feel pampered. From now on whenever I travel I will always try to stay at a Marriott if at all possible.”

• Parking was very convenient to the room.
• We were given double beds.

“The room worked very well for us and what we needed for this trip. It was clean and quiet. We had no chance to request a larger bed, but managed the double. After staying in the quarters this chain operates, My only negative is the coffee. Very weak.”

• Clean facilities, close to expressway and malls for shopping. A bit of a drive into Portland.

“Hotel was in a business park, hence good for business if you are in the area. So, we did not have breakfast, or spend anything extra as a result. This was the first time they would not use the number for anything!”

• I enjoyed making use of the exercise bicycle and the indoor pool and hot tub.
• I was surprised by the cost of the long distance phone calls I made from our room.

“This is the second time our family has stayed at this hotel. We find that it meets our needs and is very pleasant. It is near the home of our friends, so is ideal for us. It is a little difficult to find the first time, but is a good location once you get familiar with the area.”

• I liked the security of my room.
• I had elephants tromping in the room directly above me.

“A pleasant place to stay. However, I would recommend you check if anyone is beside you (especially if there is an adjoining room door). A lot of noise comes from the adjoining door. Also check if there is anyone above you.”

• The hotel was decorated very nicely, comfortable seating in the lobby nears a fireplace, and the rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable.
• The restaurant was not available for dinner on weekends.

“From the location in a business park I assume that this hotel caters to businessmen. However, it was wonderful for a weekend stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. The facility was very clean with a wonderful lobby. There were comfortable chairs near a fireplace for reading my morning paper, and the rooms were nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. There was a nice pool and spa. The pool was warm and very seldom had any other people there.”

• Clean, quiet, easy access to parking lot, close to stores & restaurants.
• Computer needs upgrading, pool is not that nice.

“I won't mind staying at this hotel again. Close to Streets of Tanasbourne where they have Macy's, and also close to restaurants and shops. Although we did not really visit Streets of Tanasbourne, it's just good that this hotel is accessible to the stores there. The hotel is clean, staff is nice, hotel is quiet, they have computer & printer, but computer needs upgrading because it's slow. At the back, they have doors that lead to the parking which is quite convenient after a day of shopping. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying here again.”
