• That it was in a area that wasn't noisy.

• The bed was very comfortable.
• With over half the rooms empty we had people staying both next to us and above us.

• It was the perfect location to visit with family. Very quiet. The staff were more than gracious. Our room was in the perfect location for access.

“The directions were exception. We enjoyed the close location to family, shopping, movies, dining. You can walk everywhere which is such a treat. The breakfast buffet was a fine deal - liked eating on china. We had an exceptional experience.”

• The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi are very nice.
• No soda machines.

• Room was spacious with a nice view.
• Front entrance looked a little shabby.

“This hotel met our needs for an overnight stay. The location was walking distance to movies and dining. The indoor pool was small. Fortunately we had it to ourselves. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was expensive for the quality provided.”

• Staff was friendly and very helpful, and the hotel was close to the freeway.
• Hotel location is in an odd place tucked behind some buildings in a cul-de-sac.

“Overall, the hotel was good, although it is located in an odd spot (tucked behind some other buildings on a cul-de-sac. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool and spa were great. I think it is probably perfect for business, but was also suitable for family travelers as well. I traveled with three smaller children and we did see other children there as well.”

• The staff at the Marriott was exceptional and the breakfast buffet was not only delicious but a fantastic bargain.
• The street to the hotel was not very well marked so we passed it several times.

“The Courtyard Marriott has some amazing amenities! We took advantage of the breakfast buffet both mornings and it was the perfect way to start our day. The service provided by the restaurant staff was exceptional and they really made us feel pampered. From now on whenever I travel I will always try to stay at a Marriott if at all possible.”

• Parking was very convenient to the room.
• We were given double beds.

“The room worked very well for us and what we needed for this trip. It was clean and quiet. We had no chance to request a larger bed, but managed the double. After staying in the quarters this chain operates, My only negative is the coffee. Very weak.”

• Clean facilities, close to expressway and malls for shopping. A bit of a drive into Portland.

“Hotel was in a business park, hence good for business if you are in the area. So, we did not have breakfast, or spend anything extra as a result. This was the first time they would not use the number for anything!”

• I enjoyed making use of the exercise bicycle and the indoor pool and hot tub.
• I was surprised by the cost of the long distance phone calls I made from our room.

“This is the second time our family has stayed at this hotel. We find that it meets our needs and is very pleasant. It is near the home of our friends, so is ideal for us. It is a little difficult to find the first time, but is a good location once you get familiar with the area.”
