• There was no way to watch movies. No DVD player or way to access by TV.

“Beautiful grounds. Good pet policy. Could have been friendlier at the front desk. Housekeeping was very helpful. Need to provide better TV services.”

• Nicely updated room, comfortable beds.

“Very nice hotel. Appears to be geared toward business travelers, but it suited my leisure travel needs fine. This is an older hotel, but my room was recently updated and clean. Friendly front desk staff.”

• Nice view of attractive grounds from room's balcony.

“Very attractive room, spacious with excellent bed and balcony. Front desk staff provided friendly and excellent service as did the bartender. I would stay here again.”

• Front desk staff was very accommodating when we complained about smoke smell in non-smoking room.
• Windows were either old or dirty so obstructed beautiful view.

“An older hotel with a great setting in a good location. The front desk personnel was most helpful. This was our first time using Priceline. We did- with a very nice view. Woman at the front desk told us she had located us away from the prom that was to take place that evening. Thank You! The lounge had a lovely view of water and grounds.”

• Friendly staff, no charge for parking.
• Noisey room.

“This is an older hotel (for U.S. standards) that is showing wear. Although it appears some renovations have been made, it could use more. The hotel is located some distance from Olympia's downtown core. Some rooms and the dining areas have a nice view of the Capital buildings. I thought the restaurant's menu was a little short on entree options.”

• Quick check-in and check out.
• Restaurant closed at 10PM.

“It was really nice. After a long drive to have dinner at the restaurant would have been nice except it was closed and on a Saturday night. Other than that not much else to report.”

• The decorations in the lobby.
• Management lack of concern for guests & they were lying to me.

“I travel a lot for both work & play. I believe that this is the worst experience that I have ever encountered. This stay ruined my Christmas Holiday vacation. This hotel's care for the safety of their guests in the hotel & restaurant was unconscionable! They also lied to me to my face about several issue and the charges for this horrible stay. I would never recommend staying at this hotel.”

• Very nice location, just out of downtown but close enough, beautiful environment and view of capitol building.
• No continental breakfast, and the typical slow elevators for small hotels. (stairs are better for me anyway).

• The room was large and clean; free parking; good location; quiet; tub & shower; lots of towels.
• No security for ground floor windows; no ice on ground floor; internet access down.

“I had called ahead because I knew I would be early and asked about early check in. He said he would note it and they would accommodate me as early as I could. When I checked in, I obviously irked the woman, as she glared at me and then turned to the person behind me without explanation. My main concern was comfort and quiet. The view was of my car in the parking lot, which I liked because there was no security. But the large window was at ground level & had no security lock or screens, so I was unable to open the window, which I like to do. The internet was down, so there was no place to check email. No complimentary coffee or breakfast of any kind. (2 cup pot in room) Buffet breakfast ($9) barely edible. Food menu in bar was awesome - very good and cheap. Not available in am, though. No info available about Olympia or activities/maps, etc. Outdoor pool was large, although I didn't use it. Lots of towels. No ice on my floor; I had to go up a floor to get any. No fridge in room. This is the best lodging in our state capital. Pitiful.”

• Easy access off interstate and close to shopping and downtown events.
• Pork sausage at breakfast buffet was underdone.

“Good location. Easy access to Interstate 5, the Evergreen State College, a few hours away from coastal towns. Close to shopping, downtown and Lacey, Tumwater, and Fort Lewis. Lush greenery visible from dining room which overlooks Capital Lake.”

• The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!
• There was an odor in the room, once the windows were opened and the room aired out, it was ok.

• Great setting of the hotel - hard to find, but set in a quiet setting - worth the 'trouble'.
• Room above a loud ballroom-not too late, though.
