• Cleanliness, ample space, quiet, kitchen appliances.
• Would not give me a wake-up call.

“Generally very quiet. Could hear the person above me walking constantly about the room. Good bang for the buck. I would certainly stay again if the opportunity arises. Thank you.”

• Close to where I was going.
• Food left in fridge, candy wrappers under bed, etc.

“The room was dirty along with the bedding. Personnel weren't available when we needed them.”

• Price was right.
• Smelled of smoke even though we had a non smoking room.

“Nice location for us, fairly clean for the price. TV was small, refrigerator warm. Staff very friendly. Price was good.”

• Comfortable bed.
• Could still smell stale smoke in non-smoking room.

“Clean but spartan accommodations with no other amenities except full kitchen if you need/want that. Room kitchen was not very well stocked, but I expect the front desk would replace missing items for you based on need. Almost everyone has internet access so you can't count that. I only needed a clean cheap place to crash for a few hours after a midnight arrival en route to somewhere else, so it did not matter. BTW, if you arrive after 10pm the doors are locked and front desk closed.”

• Someone smoking in the next room made my room smell like cigarette smoke.

• Location.
• Rock hard beds, no shampoo, car alarm going off all night.

“This was one of the poorest nights I've ever spent at a hotel. The bed was so hard it didn't even make a dent when I sat on it. The management should have found out whose car was going off and gotten that person to turn it off. The only toiletries provides was soap.”

• We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen.
• Very uncomfortable bed, no sheer curtains for privacy on 1st floor room facing parking lot.

“Very basic. Bed was extremely hard, and squeaked with every movement. Furnishings were pretty beat up looking and in order to have privacy from the parking lot, we had to keep the room darkening drapes pulled, as there were no sheers. All of this made the room seem pretty depressing. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who absolutely needed a full kitchen on a budget, as it was very adequate. If you don't need a kitchen, you can probably find a much more comfortable room elsewhere. Hotel staff was friendly.”

• The larger than expected room size and full kitchen including full-size fridge + range top.
• Could use larger common areas and regularly scheduled weekly activities for guests.

“This place was the best long-term stay motel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were larger than average and felt spacious. The rooms included a full-size fridge and range top in the mini-kitchen. It felt safe even though it was so close to the interstate. Almost no highway noise. Nice view of evergreens from many rooms. I was here over a week and the thing I have learned from staying at traveler's hostels is that even if a property offers only rudimentary no-host activities on a regular basis, it goes a long way to help travelers - esp. solo biz travelers - connect to other people on the road and feel less isolated. That would be a big plus to a place like this with really no common areas (almost non-existent lobby) and no restaurants/bars on-site.”

• Clean, nice kitchen, decent location.
• Terrible mattress.

“Nice hotel as long as you don't attempt to sleep. The mattress (at least in our room) is lousy and is not appropriate to someone who wishes to sleep soundly. Nice kitchen. The fridge kept my beer cold (the beer was needed to cope with the mattress).”

• The kitchen would have been nice were we there more than 1 night.
• Only 1 bed per room unless you want a smoking room!
