• It was a place to sleep.
• It was dirty, staff not friendly, halls were dirty with construction going on all around.

“This hotel is one that I would not want to stay at again. The staff were not friendly, not able to help when needed, house keeping would forget to clean different things, and did not stock the room with the basics like wash clothes unless you called the desk. The construction was horrible, and ice machines were out of order. It was not the most comfortable place I have stayed at, and sad to stay it wasn't the worst either.”

• I checked out.

“This hotel is under going a major remodel. Was not aware of this, upon check in had to almost yell at the desk clerk to be heard. Was placed on the 2nd floor in a smoking room after requesting a non smoking room. Remodel going on in rooms across the hall and on both sides of the room. I explained to the desk clerk that I was there for business and would be working overnight and sleeping during the day and would like a room that had some sort of quietness. Clerk simply said " The only quiet place in this hotel is some where else." The next morning I hung my do not disturb sign on the door and 20 minutes later was greeted by a non English reading or speaking member of house keeping trying to open my door. 20 minutes later same person was back at my door again attempting to enter, I called the front desk and complained and was informed that they had a job to do as well. Shortly after that the remodel crew showed up banging on my door again no one in the crew spoke any English or could apparently read the do not disturb sign. When I again called the front desk I was told sorry they have work to do as well.”

• There was black hair all over the toilet and the spa was to hot.

“This was a good place to stay but the receptionist was very rude and snippy. We did not appreciate this.”

• Beds, and very drab.

“I needed this room for medical appointments. I was disappointed in the total stay. The room was that of a low end motel. Would not stay there again.”

• The guy checking us in was very friendly.
• The hotel room was over sprayed with deodorizer. I felt the hotel needed a huge update. It was not nice at all!

• Staff was friendly and helpful. Location had easy access to commuter train.
• Hotel is still renovating, so non-updated areas a bit shabby. Two-story without elevator.

“They are doing some nice updating and renovating. An elevator would be a good addition. Hotel is in a quiet location, but a short drive to some nice restaurants and stores. Public transportation to Downtown Portland is a few blocks away.”

• I did not like the hotel.
• The hotel had a horrible smell and was very dirty.

“We had to ask for another room, it had a slap you in the face odor as soon as you walked in! The bathtub was disgusting! The sign says newly remodeled rooms; there are rotted, molded boxes in the front of the hotel with remodeling items in them. They have been sitting there for about 3 years (asked a local.) The stairwells are just dirty. And the smell throughout the hotel was musty, and smoky. Oh and no one tells you that the Hillsboro airport is across the street, and you hear it all! Would not go back there.”

• That the hotel had bath and body works products in the shower. This was the only nice thing about the hotel.
• The beds were horrible; it smelled in the rooms and hall ways. And they had a ton of trash in the parking lot.

“I was very disappointed and will not use this again. Ounce I bid then I felt locked in, even though I hated my stay.”

• It was so quiet and peaceful with elegant detail throughout.
• Strange smell and temperamental electronics.

“This is an excellent choice hotel for the lengthier stay just a short distance from Beaverton. Its isolated location from the nearby metropolis makes it a peaceful reprieve from urban monotony. Quiet, dark room invited restful sleep.”

“No continental breakfast but does have a restaurant that shares the same property. Great if you have pets because it has a huge open space where they can run and the fairgrounds right down the street with a field where they can run also. Near a good amount of newer shopping centers with coffee shops and clothing stores and barber shops.”

• The rooms smelled awful.

“This hotel was very poorly kept up. The carpets were filthy, with black stains completely up and down the stairs. Large chunks of wallpaper were peeled from several of the walls and the painted areas needed touching up. The doors were painted but most had either badly peeling paint or noticeable dents and gashes in them. The rooms may be non-smoking but they really smelled awful. We were not the only people to complain about this (we talked to another family who said the same). This hotel barely rates a star and the price I paid, while low, was too high for the poor quality of this hotel.”
