• Great staff! Always friendly and helpful beyond what their jobs require.
• Elevator may require a short wait in the early mornings.

“A great hotel that is often overlooked in Salem. This place was just renovated inside where it counts. They even added double-pillow-top mattresses that make you want one for your home. All of the rooms have microwaves, refrigerators, cable TV and all the other things you would expect from a nice hotel. The grounds are well maintained and you can even bring your doggie along! There are fewer and fewer hotels allowing pets and this one welcomes them. On to the breakfast. These things are usually touted as continental breakfasts. Not here. You are talking about saving a bit of cash with the breakfast here. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, usually some canned fruit as well. Add biscuits and gravy to the list as well as bake your own Belgian waffles made with a malted batter! They have a nice indoor pool that is open year round as well as an indoor spa. They recently added a complete compliment of Nautilus fitness equipment and a big flat screen TV to watch while you work out! Oh, there is also a big flat screen in the breakfast room. This place feels like home as soon as you step inside the bewly decorated lobby.”
