• It is exactly what I was expecting.
• It was a non-smoking hotel, but there was the occasional smell of cigarette smoke.

“For the price I was able to pay, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The desk staff was extra friendly, not just one of them, but all three that I interacted with over the course of my stay! I was also pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room.”

• Uncluttered.
• The heaters/air conditioners were on the roof outside our room.

“This is a great hotel for a business traveler. Be sensitive to where they place you. On one end there is the highway traffic, on another end you will experience the noise of the heaters/air conditioners that are on the roof. Overall an "ok" place to stay, but my bet is there is better.”

• First walking into the hotel, noticed the cleanliness of the lobby & surrounding areas.
• Liked everything about the hotel.

• Convenient location, close to I-5.
• Bed bugs, tattered bedding, and lumpy pillows.

“Bed bugs, tattered bedding, and lumpy pillows. The staff was nice enough but the room was surrounded by a very noisy teenage sports team. I'm not sure if the staff asked them to quiet down but they didn't.”

• Staff was very friendly.
• Room small and TV inadequate.

“While not a fan of Red Lion hotels as a whole, the friendliness of the staff at this hotel makes it acceptable. The hotel is basic, rooms a little small, located in busy location. Convenient to freeway, but not to much else. Food at bar and restaurant were decent.”

• Beds were soft, and comfortable.
• Cleaning detail throughout was bad, gum stuck, frayed towels, stained bedspread.

“This is an older hotel that has attempted to upgrade. The rooms were tiny and hard to walk around things without bumping into corners of furniture. The pool room was most disappointing! It was filthy dirty. Windows not washed for at least a year, gum ...lots of chewed gum on the cement, gross! There was no attention to detail, or obvious pride taken by the cleaning staff. Frayed towels that looked like the towels I use to clean my car with. Best part: Beds were small, but VERY comfortable! Breakfast in the restaurant was great! The bar had a live band Fri. & Saturday!”

• Paid parking in smaller towns is a stretch

“Large convention facilities are prominent at this downtown, multi-story hotel. The facility seemed recently updated and clean. Guest services were solid.”

“Friendly and quick check-in. There were dozens (maybe hundreds) of kids in the hotel for a softball tournament and I asked for a room away from where they were staying so it would be quiet. They changed my original room with no trouble.”
