• It was good value for the money.
• It was very drab and only moderately comfortable.

“It absolutely met my expectations. The room was small and very dull but adequate and clean; the bed was quite hard but it was totally sleep-able. The location was good, the staff were friendly, and for the price I could hardly ask for more. I would consider staying at another Crosslands if I were on a tight budget.”

• Filthy room, unflushed toilet and
  smelled of smoke.

“This was one of the worst nights of my life!
I could compare it to sleeping on the street. It was cold, thin blankets, heater sounded like a jet engine with a pigeon stuck in it. The non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray and the toilet which contained solid matter, had not been flushed.”

• kitchen area with refrigerator, close to family in area.
• Not very sound resistant, people can be heard talking outside of the room, we asked for extra pillows and were denied.

“I never got my room because the party I purchased the room for arrived too late and my purchase was eliminated. I've complained repeatedly as I didn't know we didn't own all the days of the purchase. I had even extended the original purchase and never got to use that either.”

• Kitchen in the room.
• Every time I went to the front desk, the manager was out smoking.

“The location was not great. I had to pay extra to get two beds and extra to get internet. That said, the room was fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and relatively new.”

• Ugly room, loud, uncomfortable bed - poorly equipped kitchen.

• Found things that a vacuum cleaner should have picked up. [Not a lot but a little].

• Location, nice view of hills.
• Hard beds, unclean.

“This place is bare bones and bordering on health department issues with cleanliness. When we checked in we asked if it was okay for an open ended stay and said no problem. A few days later they said we will be kicked out because they are full. What? The beds are so hard and creaky its a joke. The desk staff also are the cleaning ladies, and they all give you different information. I would not recommend this to anyone.”

• Good location, reasonably quiet, close to gas and restaurants.
• Bed was brutally hard and too small for me and ten-year-old.

“Perhaps it was my fault for economizing, but the bed was brutally hard and too small for me and my son. I was not rested next day. I can't imagine two adults managing it. However, it was well located, fairly quiet, and had a good selection of restaurants, gas, and other facilities. We were visiting the University of Oregon and this hotel was fairly close by.”

• Bed was hard as a rock!

“This hotel looked great from the outside and the general appearance of the room was fine. No hair dryer, shampoos, etc. All of that was fine but when we went to bed and it was like sleeping on plywood I knew that I would never stay there again!”
