• Nothing.
• Dirty, run down, train was very loud, slept fully clothed. Peoples pets everywhere. Tidy but dirty.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone except someone with a pet that can't find anywhere else to stay, and likes listening to a train horn all night long.”

• Newly remodeled, friendly staff, great walking distance to 5th St Market.
• I woke up when I heard the train around 5 AM, but I did fall back asleep.

“It was extremely clean, excellent work out facility, close to shopping and many dining options. I would recommend asking for a room away from the main street, so you won't wake up to the train in the morning. This is our 2nd trip to the Hilton and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.”

• Room has been remodeled and was nice.
• Restaurant service was poor, other than breakfast.

“Swimming pool is very small, the wireless internet charge is not conducive to business travel as other local establishments have no wireless charges; location is easily accessible to down town with parking accommodations. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds and pillows, although the restroom was very small.”

• We enjoyed the convenience of the hotel's location, and the bed was most comfortable.
• We had to remind the housekeeping staff to take care of our room (after we'd been away & returned).

“We'd definitely stay at this hotel again. It was quite convenient for visiting our friends in the area, and we truly appreciate having a comfortable bed to sleep in (since we both see our chiropractor regularly). The food in both the restaurant (breakfast) and the bar (a light supper) was terrific. It will be our place to stay when we visit our friends in Eugene!”

• They upgraded us to a 10th floor room that included breakfast. The room was excellent and in a great location.
• Street noise.

“Our experience with this hotel was excellent. Comfortable beds, large flat screen TV and nice bathroom amenities. Check-in was fast and easy, although I was glad I had made a print out of the description of the hotel, so we didn't have to pay for parking. Noise level from the street was quite loud but you are on a busy street. Overall, a great stay.”

• The kids loved the lobby and the staff were very nice to them.
• That we couldn't stay longer.

“After a long drive I was relieved to see how nice the hotel was when we arrived. The lobby and the pool were great for the kids and the beds were so comfortable that I almost slept in. The staff were very efficient and everything worked. In some hotels, everything breaks or is already broken. Not here. It was a fun place and a great experience.”

“The only problem we had was the maid service came and knocked on the door both Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. when we were sleeping in.”

• The bed linens were fantastic - down comforters wrapped in clean sheets.
• The pool was a major disappointment.

“Nice comfortable room in a great location. The pool is tiny and shallow - not what I expected. Otherwise, the hotel was luxurious and well appointed - from the clean down comforters to the great shampoo to the excellent restaurant. The room had a nice flat screen TV and plenty of towels. I was with my 8 year old, who didn't mind the small pool, and my husband, who was able to use the business center to get some last minute work done before walking to his Downtown meeting. There was a recycling bin in the room--the first time I've seen that. It was very welcome. Warning - you do have to pay a daily parking fee here. Overall I highly recommended the hotel.”

• Front desk very pleasant and helpful. Convenient location and nice room.
• Noise from the street. Also, I had a room next to the ice machine. Ice machines are bad news.

“The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The only thing I did not like was the location of my room and the street noise. I was near the ice machine and elevator. Ice machines! They are noisy and should not be placed near rooms! Also, there are loud bars across the street from this hotel, and I could occasionally feel the bass guitar buzz vibe in my 3rd floor room. Next time I will stay up higher, on the side away from the hot shot dance bar.”

• Charges for everything - water, internet, breakfast.

“This hotel was really nice, comfortable and the staff was helpful. The only complaint I have are all the extra charges. This may be typical of Hilton - it was my first stay here. Water bottles were in the room and were $3, internet access was $10 a day but I was able to find a free local connection that worked in my room and breakfast is not included. I usually stay at HI Express which usually has all of those things free. I had a room at the front of the hotel facing the street and it was a little bit noisy. They had bicycle rentals (bicycle, lock & helmet) which were $5 for an hour.”

• The outdoor sauna and comforters/duvets on the beds.
• No sink/vanity outside small bathroom quality for $ but not Hilton size quality room.

“Outdoor hot tub/spa great exercise room good comfortable beds nice appointments in rooms boring TV channels unless one wants to pay even for music channels. Small room for the Hilton with no vanity/sink outside the very small bathroom. So if you aren't there to spend allot of time in your hotel room but mainly just to sleep it is perfect.”
