• Access to ocean was across a busy highway.

• I loved the view, the staff was very friendly and I felt like I had personal attention.
• There really wasn't anything I didn't like! I guess I wish they had a hot tub in the pool room.

“This is a great place to stay. Best Western is becoming a quick favorite of mine- nationally. The pool was heated to 82 degrees so I wasn't chilled. It wasn't overly chlorinated, either. The complimentary breakfast was good, too. I really enjoyed my stay.”

• The friendly advice by staff regarding dinning in Fort Bragg.
• The poor insulation which made the noise from the upstairs room intolerable. The staff's refusal to give us another room when we complained.

• Beautiful location.
• 24 hour highway noise.

“Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice view, good location. All windows must be closed tight to sleep; 101 traffic noise bounces right into the room. Nice place but won't stay here again.”

• The location.
• The fact that they did not disclose that the rooms did not have A/C.

“I found this hotel to be a complete disappointment. After a long drive there I was hoping to relax in an Air Conditioned room, but that was not the case. Prior to booking they failed to tell me that none of the rooms had A/C. Also they should have informed us to lock all food away since they had ants. Are trip was supposed to be two nights, but we decide to cut our trip short due to the many inconveniences. Not to mention the windows had ripped screens, and not knowing the area I was not sure if leaving my window open at night was safe, but I also didn't want to sweat to death in this room with 4 people. I was so displeased.”

• It had a beautiful view of the ocean and was within walking distance to the ocean.
• The entrance is not very well lit. Making it hard to turn in at night. Also the bed sagged, but the room was very quiet.

“This was a beautiful hotel. The service was great! The landscaping was very nice, and our room had a nice view of the ocean. It was very quiet and serene. The continental breakfast was nice. Everything was very good.”

• Location, views and layout.
• Second floor activity (like walking across the floor) was disruptive to the first floor.

• View of the ocean from the balcony.
• View of the cemetery from the entrances of the room.

“The room was nice size, clean and in a quite location, a little out dated. The breakfast was fine and the swimming pool looked okay, but I did not get a chance to use it. The service at check in and check was very friendly.”

• My ten year-old loved the continental breakfast. So did my husband and I, they had a nice selection of food.
• I liked it all.

“We stayed in the building furthest away from the office. Our ocean view was lovely and it was very quite there. Our daughter loved the heated indoor pool.”
