  • The front desk people were nice.
  • It was a tad dirty, noisy, bright when we were trying to sleep, loud, and the toilet clogged.

“It was a tad dirty, noisy, bright lights (even with the curtains closed) when we were trying to sleep, loud, and the toilet clogged after the first use.”

  • We enjoyed leaving.
  • Filthy room, drunk kids partying in the lot all night, neighbors yelling at 3am, manager barely understood/spoke English.

“We were checked into a very dirty room, the sheets did not look to have been changed, loud music was playing outside in the parking lot all night. The neighbor below was yelling at the kids in the parking lot all night, we got roughly 2 hours of sleep. The manager was very unkempt and did not speak much English. We left then. With us being on such a short budget we opted to sleep in our car the remaining stay.”

  • We liked the indoor heated swimming pool.
  • It was dirty and the stairs were a doozie.

  • It had an available room for parents of hsu move in weekend.
  • It was noisy, no AC or window screens, but was clean enough.

“We stayed here out of necessity and were satisfied with the 1-star rating which met our expectations and needs. It was a shelter which we needed and had a kitchen which we did not use. It was close to the university and that was important to us.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[6] • Location:[5]

  • Convenient location, continental breakfast.
  • Noisy street corner, not well insulated from noise.

“Good location, 45 minutes south of redwood national park, nice town plenty of restaurants, good choice for the budget minded traveler.”

  • it was cheap!
  • the manager was incredibly rude to us

“It's cheap! It's good for students/cheap travelers. Most of the people staying there seemed pretty young. The beds were OK and the room was clean. Nothing was really dirty, just dingy. The timer in the bathroom didn't work and the fan sounded like a chainsaw. There were no spare outlets except in the bathroom. I unplugged the TV to charge my cell phone. We didn't spend much time in the room which was good. It's decent enough as long as all you want to do there is sleep.”

  • Convenient location to bridge over to Samoa & close to waterfront park.
  • Quality didn't seem to match price. Towel were too thin.

“Location was great, but I guess I would of expected a much better price from you for this hotel. It was nothing to get excited about. $60.00 a night would of been appropriate not $80.00.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Nothing.
  • Desk clerk angry, rooms reeked of smoke, difficult to find hotel, bad looking neighborhood.

“Extremely poor experience. Told desk clerk we needed non smoking room, he told us none available, sign said we could avoid checking in if we were there less than 10 minutes, we explained problem with asthma and smoke to clerk and left before 10 minutes and he still refused refund. Room looked in poor condition as well, holes in curtains, extremely noisy, reeked of smoke and walls and bathroom seemed in poor condition, possibly mold?”
