• The room was smaller then I thought and the staff was not helpful.

“The hallways in the hotel looked dirty and had a musty smell to them. The staff wasn't very friendly they seem to be put out for helping us.”

• It was a 2 star hotel with a 5 star staff.
• No microwave in the room.

“My overall experience was great. I would definitely go there again in the future. the friendliness of the staff, there concern for meeting my needs, and they are interest in making my son and I comfortable was exceptional.”

• This hotel was right on the beach, had a great breakfast.
• There was not anything I did not like.

“This is a great room and features the kind of quality and service I have come to expect from quality inns. Served a breakfast. Is not a large place, but has many details that make it nice.”

• Friendliness of night audit staff.
• Lights over the miniature golf course show around the inside of room curtains - turn off.

“The staff was very friendly - a definite plus. I have worked for several different hospitality facilities, even one in ocean shores, so a staff who is willing to take the time to communicate with guest's) is a big plus when it comes to making a guest feel welcome. We were offered a room upgrade upon check in - also a plus. Overall I would definitely recommend this facility.”

• Price, great large hot tub/pool.
• Mattress was not so comfortable.

“For a quick weekend getaway this hotel was fine, my only complaint is that the mattress was not comfortable. It was however clean, the staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was great, my husband loved that he could make his own waffles, and it was close to the beach. I know I could stay there again but without a comfortable bed to sleep in it wont be the hotel I "have to stay in" when going to Ocean Shores.”

• Very good complimentary breakfast.
• Room needs own refrigerator.

“Staff was super helpful and welcoming. Continental breakfast was well done and was traveling with small child and a refrigerator in my room would have been much more convenient and practical. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful vacation.”

• The view of the beach was incredible; the balcony was a very romantic touch.
• I have nothing negative to say, my time there was wonderful.

“If you are looking for a fun, romantic, and affordable place to run away with someone. I highly recommend the quality inn at ocean shores, the staff was friendly, the room was very nice, the view incredible, and the bed was so very cozy. Continental breakfast was available from 7-10 am no need to rush the day. Thank you quality inn at ocean shores.”

• The room far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and comfortable.
• The chlorine smell from the pool is very strong.

“We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff is very friendly, which we expected from the reviews we read, but the rooms far exceeded our expectations. The room had a small balcony for us to look out over the ocean and even though it's the middle of winter the balcony was pleasantly warm and we were able to sit out there and drink our hot chocolate and watch the sunset. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in ocean shores.”

• Convenient to the ocean and the staff was helpful on telling us where to get the best food.
• The parking was no convenient unless you wanted to park away from the room.

“The employees told us where to find the best places to eat and that there was a music festival at the local Irish pub. And that told us about a two for one tickets for the movies which we took them up on.”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly, The mini-golf was great for the whole family. Very convenient location.
• The room was a bit small.

“I really liked the location. The breakfast was fresh with variety and was well stocked. There was wireless internet in the room. The staff was able to help me find attractions in the town. The kids loved the mini-golf. I will return to Quality Inn the next time I am at Ocean Shores.”

• Price went up $30/night on the holiday weekend.

“It was a good hotel. Staff were helpful about the area. Free wireless internet and a community laptop in the lobby. The included breakfast was great. The room was average. Pool and hot tub were a decent size. Walls were a little thin and could here the kids in the next room and the hallway.”
