• Convenient location for Stan Stevens Cruises.
• Poor breakfast set up and location - too small and not enough seating spaces. Room is cramped and not kept clean.

• The staff at the desk was very helpful they let us park our bikes near the lobby to keep them safe.
• The waitress in the retardant was not very good she billed us incorrectly.

• Good location, comfort, cozy and with view.
• The breakfast buffet is robbing, and the price is a bit high.

“Good points,Very good location, room with view (if not, ask for).Take your AAA membership card if you are - you get extra 10% off the rate. Do not try the breakfast buffet, $15 for nothing - try the Edgewater Grill, with is 3 minutes walking from the hotel - they offer very good Omelet for under $9.The dinner at the hotel restaurant is fairly good (it is in the same place but operated by different owner than the breakfast buffet, actually those people who serve breakfast at Edgewater Grill). They have very good mood and the only dinner place with view in town - better than the view in the room. Try the halibut cheek - it is not halibut, but like crab. There is a safe way in town - so you can get your daily use. There is a prospector in town - you can get your hiking/kayaking gears there - this does not concern your hotel though. There is a car wash in town open 24 hours a day - for $6-12. If you drove down the Glannelen Hwy, even it is a rental car, it deserve a wash, Valdez is a very clean city.”

• Location and bar.
• Room downgraded from queen to two double beds.

“Location was good, nice bar, clean rooms. Alaska has limited hotel accommodations, so it was very acceptable except the room I reserved with a queen size bed was not available and I was accorded a room with two double beds. I felt upgrade to a queen at the next higher price range for the same price was in order with my reservation.”
