“My wife uses a wheelchair, and we got an accessible room, the room definitely met all her needs. There were two shower heads in the shower, and lots of hand holds. The restaurant is small with a separate bar, very cozy, and tasty breakfast.”

“Definitely not 3 star! The lobby area looks fancy but the rooms are old, windows leaked cold air, bathroom flooring and mildew in the tub grout was gross, hairs in the shower stall, not to mention the nauseating smoke smell in the hallway that filtered into the room.”

“Downtown anchorage, an older facility. Apartment style rooms, extremely small bathroom. Did have a nice view of Cook Inlet. Would not want to stay there again. This one wasn't what we expected for the star level.”

“I had to request a fitted sheet on the bed, there was only a flat sheet & you could see thru to the mattress. It was clean however.”

“This hotel is adequate but overpriced. Our room didn't have a fan in the bathroom. There is no room service. At the time we stayed, there was a lot of construction nearby that woke us up at 7 am every day. Their coffee is not Alaskan gourmet. The room was clean, the coffeepot, fridge, and microwave were nice. Customer service was awful and nobody cared about our complaints. We could get a late checkout though, at 2 pm, so that was nice. The hallways smelled funny.”

“This hotel is one star. Every previous review is poor. My family members checked out and stayed across town due to the disturbing state of the rooms.”

“Very plain and old. Fine to be rated 2 star or maybe 2 1/2 but not 3 star. Very small entry area. I hear that restaurant is good, from locals but did not eat there. Hotel is a apt. building converted to hotel.”

“I liked the property and the location, they should spend a little time and money to better take care of what they have. I would go back, but I would have a cleaner room. It was worth the price.”

“We always try to get this hotel because of its location and the great grocery store on the corner. It has everything you could think of. The room is ample and well situated.”

“I liked everything except the staff could have been friendlier and the price of continental breakfast. $20 for two to eat granola and fruit.”

“The front staff lacked enthusiasm or care for that matter. The hotel is out of the way. The rooms are awkwardly arranged, and construction was fairly heavy and frequent. I would not recommend this hotel for the price.”

“15 story, recently remodeled hotel just south of downtown Anchorage's main drag. Spacious rooms with great views to the mountains north and northwest of the city, however, the upholstering was frightfully dirty on the furnishings and the rooms had an awkward layout / plan.”

“Would not recommend to stay there. The hotel staff in the evening was not helpful. They were very rude and disrespectful. Will not ever stay there again. I am also passing this on to all of my friends and family. Along with all of my clients that come to Alaska to come fishing. Do not stay at the inlet towers hotel. Lobby looks good, but once you get to the rooms they are in crappy condition.”

“I simply would not recommend this hotel. The desk staff was pleasant enough, and the location is excellent, but on three occasions - when I arrived, and twice during my stay - the room was unready for occupancy. Perhaps they are having difficulty in keeping or maintaining a capable housekeeping staff. I departed for work around 7:00 AM each morning, and when I'd returned on Monday and Tuesday evening (after 5:00 PM) the room had no been touched. It occurred to me that a hotel my be acutely aware of those guests who use Priceline and those clients may get indifferent service because they do not pay the usual going rate. I hope that isn't so.”
