  • The hotel was very roomy and clean and the landscape was beautiful.
  • The only thing that was a drawback was the walk from the parking area to the room.

“Overall, it was a very good experience. The rooms were nice roomy and were clean and comfortable. The general area where it was located was very pretty, ocean within viewing and beautiful golf courses surrounding the place. The landscape was very pretty and well kept. Would recommend to anyone.”

  • Lush, private, more than just a hotel room.
  • No daily maid service; did not explain at check-in.

“This location is right next door to my wife's conference at the Sheraton. We had a wonderful relaxing second honeymoon and this quiet lush resort was a relaxing home base for our activities.”

  • A lot of space for the price.
  • No parking near rooms.

“Great place for families and couples vacationing, a bit removed from shopping and tourist areas. Not necessarily the place for single travelers unless you like to have a lot of room. Kitchenettes are nice. Bar-b-ques outside are made use of regularly. Many pools.”

  • It is nicely located and has spacious and well decorated rooms with pretty views.
  • The personal needs to be better trained to reply to customer needs fast.

“I was appalled that it took person hours to find our reservation that started 1\7 instead of 1\6\08. Instead of simply confirming that it was presented that we didn't have a reservation at all. After several hours of me calling hotel personnel it was proven that we were in their system. I made a reservation for an additional day. The personal was very friendly and professional but I had to talk to three people to three different people (person who replied first, customer solution person and sales lady) - it felt very inconvenient for me the client!”

  • I liked having a kitchenette. Staff was very helpful and friendly too.
  • Soap and coffee was not replenished daily. One received once at the beginning of the stay.

“Staff and very helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcomed. Room and garden area was nice and well kept. Just one downfall. The coffee and other small necessary toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.) Was not replenished daily. We actually only received these toiletries on the first day we arrived and we did stay for 7 days total. Considering the "star ratings" I thought these items would be replenished daily.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • More like a condo than a hotel room.
  • No restaurant on site.

“I was very pleased with my stay. The room was actually a small condo as opposed to a hotel room which made my extended stay very pleasant. The only downside is the bed was uncomfortable. Everything else was excellent.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • The size of the unit, amenities, decor & landscaping of the area.
  • The units were not easy to find, as the buildings were not numbered.

“It was beautiful, spacious and the amenities made my stay a very comfortable one! I'm looking forward to staying there again!”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[2]

  • Well appointed, first-rate staff, exceptional landscaping.
  • Too far to walk to beach, long walk from parking to rooms.

“Very spacious, clean, and well appointed suites where the pace is slow. Well-versed and genuinely concerned front-office and maintenance staffs. Parking garage somewhat distant from some suites. Public two miles away.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • Value for the money.
  • Bedding and mattress were low quality.

“This was a nice find in South Kona. The facility was beyond my expectations for the area and I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to this part of Hawaii.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Room was large and clean.
  • Room needs different paint color.

“We only stayed at the hotel for 1 night and did not take advantage of the full amenities the hotel had to offer (pool, BBQ pits etc.) The grounds looked very nice, our condo was very big and in good shape (though it would have been even nicer if the paint was not so bright green everywhere). We had a very large lanai that opened from the bedroom and the living room. The drawback of the hotel is the location (i.e. Not ocean front or ocean view). Also, the staff started working at the pool very early on Saturday morning and it was loud.”
