“I am so disappointed, we didn't stay at the hotel, it was a dive.”

“This was a nice place. Low key 2-story condo complex. Nice location, quiet and clean. Great snorkeling in walking distance.”

“It was a terrific buy for a great location and room. We had an ocean view, great Gazebo Restaurant on the water, two pools, hot tub and more. The room was fine with a full & stocked kitchen and there were gas grills outdoors for use as well. Parking was close and easy and Napili Bay was great. Would highly recommend this resort to others.”

“It is comfortable but the property is nicer than the rooms.”

“This was an older remodeled hotel, but in an absolutely gorgeous location. Watch the sunset every night. Rooms were large, full kitchen. Every room has a view!”

“The rooms were excellent, but the buildings were shabby. The location is not very convenient. There is no beach attached with this hotel. There is no daily room-service (after 3 days).”

“Room was nicely decorated with new flat screen TV. Right on the ocean with nice pool and cabana restaurant. Far enough away from Downtown Lahaina that you don't feel surrounded by tourists. We'd stay here again.”

“Hotel was very nice. Parking was a little difficult at times. Kitchen was clean and had all of the utensils needed to cook/grill. Had to drive to Lahaina (10-15 minutes) for sun (stay was early February). Also, most of the activities are in Lahaina.”

“Staff seemed friendly, but the hotel seemed to attract families and elderly. We would have preferred to stay South of Napili if we were able to choose a section of the area. It was fine for us this time around because we were only in our room to sleep.”

“We enjoyed staying at Outrigger Napilli Shores. The rooms have nice amenities with the flat screen TV, granite countertops, new kitchen appliances, and comfortable bed. The free high speed internet access is a real bonus. Its located next to the ocean, but you will have to walk a few blocks north for a Sandy beach. I would consider staying there again since it was comfortable and a good value.”

“The motel has potential to be a nice place to stay. Unfortunately for us our room was located on the side of the hotel where they were redoing the parking lot and landscaping. Needless to say the parking lot on our side of the hotel was closed and there was a lot of noise from heavy equipment right outside our room. Being that there was no air conditioning and only ventilation slats open to the outside the noise level was very uncomfortable.”

“Took a few minutes to find, this hotel is a few miles north of the large swanky hotels, and is in a nice neighborhood right on the beach with two pools and two restaurants, one crowded breakfast gazebo style, and one simple 70's style but with great food and low prices. This was a great way to spend the last night on Maui. There was more rain than Kihei though.”

“The hotel was a great place to stay. Nicely secluded but close enough to Lahaina. The pool was great even though the Jacuzzi jets were broken. An overall great stay.”

“Good value for the price and great location! Inside of the room was awesome, but the outside could be renovated slightly to make it a little nicer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and great view of the pool!”

“The hotel is about 5 miles past 'downtown' Lahaina, not walking distance at all, but an easy drive. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but that's nice, it's very quiet. Room was surprisingly large. King sized bed with loveseat and chair. Also had a small kitchen table and chairs. The kitchenette was also a surprise. Full sized fridge, oven and microwave. Bathroom was a great size. Balcony was perfect and overlooked the central courtyard that had a KOI pond and relaxing waterfall. Poolside restaurant, the gazebo, is famous for their Mac nut pancakes, but calls for take away, there is always a line and can take upwards of 30 minutes. We picked up our breakfast and enjoyed it on our patio. It was fantastic. Overall we had a great time, and would definitely stay there again.”

“This is a great location just a short distance from Kaanapali and Lahaina. There is no air conditioning in the room but the breeze usually cools the place down well. I would not recommend staying during the summer when the heat is intense even with ac. The staff is wonderful and the rooms have a lot of features.”

“I can't believe other reviewers whining about crickets chirping, and the place was very "ghetto"? We have stayed at Napili shores 4 times. It is the greatest place on earth. We've stayed at a number of other hotels and condos on the islands, and nothing beats this. Rooms are very nice and comfortable, staff is great, right on the ocean, grounds and pool are gorgeous, and look just like the brochures. If you want a glitzy high rise with fancy furniture and crowds of people, don't stay here. If you want peaceful comfort and the real feel of Hawaii, this is the place.”

“Everything about the hotel was great good for adults and kids. Plenty of space in the hotel room which was great. Very nicely decorated. Dining was a bit of a challenge breakfast line for gazebo was worth the wait however a little long. I would suggest a local venue for dinner. The hotel restaurant is questionable according to locals although I did not try it. All in all what a price for such a great place we will be back!”

“Overall, I would stay at this motel again. The rooms were clean and attractive. It was surprising to not have air conditioning in the room, but temperatures during our stay were comfortable with fan on high and the windows open. Parking was free and easily accessible. I was disappointed that the motel didn't have its own sandy beach, but the neighboring beach was accessible by walkway.”

“The Outrigger Napili Shores condominiums are a great location for leisure travelers seeking an out-of-the-way location on Maui. It is a peaceful setting next to Napili Beach (must climb through rocked area to get there). Great place to wind down and close to Kapalua if you want to play some golf.” Amenities at Outrigger Napili Shores, Maui
