The view from 19 b2.
Everything else.
“We paid the extra for a "gold" unit. What a joke. The first unit they had us in was an ocean view, not ocean front as we had paid for. We had to spend one night in the wrong unit and then they moved us to a "better" unit. While the next unit did have a better view, the carpet was worn and dirty. The sofa was stained and terribly uncomfortable. They bring clean towels, empty trash and change bed linens every 3 days. No cleaning. No floor mopping, no vacuuming, no bathroom cleaning, nothing. Yuck. We were horribly disappointed. Did we mention construction? Everywhere. Whether it is heavy construction noise at the new resort next door, or the work being done in a neighboring unit, you cannot escape it. The tile saws are particularly lovely and continuous. They charge a resort fee to use the Ritz Carlton amenities, but you have to drive or take their "van" service! Was there anything good? The view from our unit was nice. But I have to say that it was not nearly enough to have us stay here again, ever. Honestly, they should have refunded our money. We have been coming to Maui for years and years. This almost enough to make us return to the big island! While they told us our unit was a "gold" unit, I don't believe it was true. We saw several other units and they were all in the same state of disrepair and neglect. How sad.”
