• This hotel has a great location, with lots of shops and restaurants and 3 blocks from Waikiki. They aim to please, not to nickel-and-dime you.
• It doesn't have a 24-hour buisiness center.

“I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews of this hotel. It was really nice, 3 blocks from Waikiki beach and the staff clearly wants to please you. Many hotels try to nickel-and-dime their guests to death, this hotel does not: Free internet, coin-op laundry downstairs, free breakfast, free beach-towel checkout, free tourist help desk downstairs, refrigerator in room. It is really a great value. The rooms are a little small, but you don't go to waikiki beach to stay in your room.”

• It was very close to shops and two blocks from the ocean.
• Dirty, things not working, and in total disrepair.

“I stay in Waikiki frequently, but this is the first time I've stayed at this hotel. Three rooms I was in all looked like they just stopped midway through the remodel. Big holes in curtains, wallpaper peeling off of walls; paint peeling from walls; couches filthy; bedspreads falling apart; king mattress broken at end of bed so if one tried to sit there, you fell off the edge; pillows were very dirty, stained and smelled bad. TVs would just stop working; there were mites in the first room so I had to transfer from there; lamps and outlets didn't work; there were cords all over the place with adapters lying on counters due to outlet shortage, and that looked really bad; bathroom floor flooded every time you showered, etc. Management was not helpful or friendly whatsoever, but the rest of the staff was incredibly wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate these problems. But, I would never stay here again.”

• The staff was very helpfull and upgraded our room on our return a week later.also having laundry facilities.
• The price to park a car Ithought was rather high. I sed a cane and wheel chair and felt the price should have been lower or seniors or handicapables.

“The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpfull and pleasent. The breakfast was a welome addition for us. We were there for 4 days before our cruise and another 4 after. Our room as up graded to a larger room on our second stay and were told if we ever came back to ontact them and they would be happy to work with us price wise and upgrade us.”

• Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good, restaurants near by.
• Had to pay for the park at hotel, rooms were small, no WIFI, the AC was not very good rooms were hot.

“The hotel was nice but small. The staff was friendly and very helpful, I did not like having to pay for parking at a hotel I stayed at.”

• Affordable hotel in very convenient location near Waikiki.
• Some ants were found near the bathroom sink.

“Neat high rise hotel located in a very convenient location in Waikiki. Rates are quite affordable provided its location. Hotel rooms are not the most roomy or the most luxurious, but clean and redecorated to appear modern. The breakfast is included, but the food is a little boring with selection of pancake, fruits, toasts, and oatmeal. In my room some ants were running around the bathroom sink, but the staff took care of it pretty quickly and offered a different room. The gym essentially consists of only 3 machines.”

• Budget accommodations.
• Noisy street.

“Good hotel in terms of budget accommodations. Noisy street makes for interrupted sleep at night. Windows do not keep noise out. Rooms were small, but acceptable.”

• Internet access was available.
• Small room, very small bathroom/shower stall, no lock on bathroom door.

“The appearance of the hotel lobby was pleasant and the front desk personnel were somewhat friendly. However, the parking area was very small/limited and very expensive. The room was small with a comfortable bed, the bathroom was tiny with a small shower stall and no lock on the bathroom door.”

• Really like operable windows - I avoid using air conditioners and heaters in paradise. Beautiful remodel, lovely color combinations.
• Too much fabrics - cause dust and allergies.
